Jeong-won struggles to uncover the truth of the case while feeling anger over her husband Seol Woo-jae’s (played by Jang Seung-jo) betrayal.

On that day, Jeong-won became more suspicious of her husband after discovering that Woo-jae was in the building on the day Cha Eun-sae (played by Han Ji-eun) died. She was shocked to learn that he had another mobile phone and had discarded it after the murder case. Torn between trust and doubt in her husband, Jeong-won was greatly confused. Woo-jae earnestly pleaded his innocence.

The news that Eun-sae and Woo-jae were in an adulterous relationship caused a significant stir. Jeong-won felt a deep sense of betrayal after confirming a video showing Woo-jae and Eun-sae committing infidelity in the studio.

Woo-jae confessed that he felt pity for Eun-sae, who was struggling with loneliness and craving love. Jeong-won cried tears of anger at Woo-jae, who blamed everything on her.

A series of events led Jeong-won to show symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder. She continued to be tormented by recalling the scene of Eun-sae’s murder.

The hardships for Jeong-won continued. Her necklace was found at the scene of Eun-sae’s murder. However, Jeong-won realized that someone was trying to frame her as the culprit when she confirmed that Eun-sae’s hand didn't have her necklace in a photo taken when she arrived at the scene.

The situation began to turn against Jeong-won. Although the truth hadn't yet been revealed, she was already branded a murderer, and the program she had poured everything into for 3 years faced cancellation. Despite her efforts to reveal the truth and prevent the cancellation, it was in vain.

Moreover, citizens protesting to cancel Jeong-won’s program filled the front of the broadcasting station. In front of the press and citizens, she said, “I regret this situation. I also sincerely mourn the death of Ms. Cha Eun-sae. The part I’m being investigated for is currently under investigation, so I ask for your understanding,” and “I still believe in and love my husband,” denying that Woo-jae and Eun-sae had an affair.

At the end of episode 4, Jeong-won was shocked to learn that her psychiatrist, Yoo Yoon-young (played by Han Chae-ah), was in the studio with Woo-jae on the day Eun-sae was murdered, raising curiosity about the future development of the story.

<cib-overlay></cib-overlay>

(Sources: khan.co.kr, gukjenews.com)

<cib-overlay></cib-overlay>
Shine Smilehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08707984097503403445noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5668248261934018681.post-86266082776939964592024-03-26T05:35:00.000-07:002024-03-26T05:37:20.286-07:00[Mar 25] “Wedding Impossible” Ep 9: Rating, Recap, Review

The 9th episode of “Wedding Impossible” on tvN got a 3.1% viewership nationwide, which is a slight drop from the 3.4% of its previous episode.

“Wedding Impossible” episode 9: Recap & review

Episode 9 showed Ah Jung and Ji Han’s day filled with love, which sadly ended in a misunderstanding. He’s puzzled because she’s always been different with her unusual abilities.

Joo Won tells Kwon Na-Ra to keep her distance

In this episode, Joo Won’s Seo Ki-Joo tells Han Bom (played by Kwon Na-Ra) that not all ghosts are nice. She thinks she can keep ghosts away and won’t have any problems.

At first, Han Bom likes being able to see ghosts. She often calls Ki-Joo to ask if she can feed a ghost child or speak with spirits. But later, she starts to feel scared by these visions. Ki-Joo is too busy to answer her calls. When he finally gets home, she thanks him for looking after her when she was ill and says she’ll be his place of comfort.

That night, Ki-Joo remembers a time from his childhood when he saved a girl from ghosts. Feeling touched by Han Bom’s appreciation, he gives her some items to protect herself from ghosts the next day. However, a bad ghost attacks her, and Ki-Joo has to rescue her.

Han Bom admits she’s frightened and doesn’t want to see ghosts anymore. Ki-Joo reassures her that he’s found a way to fix her problem. The episode shows their plan, which involves taking a photo with a ghost. Afterward, Ki-Joo tells Han Bom to stay away from him because ever since he moved into her building, strange things have been happening to her. He decides to move out and leave her alone.

Ending of "The Midnight Studio" episode 5

Joo Won’s plan doesn’t work, and Na-Ra still sees ghosts. Near the end of episode 5, we learn that Seo Ki-Joo’s fix for Han Bom’s ghost issue has a catch. Whoever sends a ghost away by force will face danger themselves. Since Ki-Joo did this, he’s now at risk.

The episode ends with a scary ghost causing a crash aimed at Han Bom. She’s safe, but there’s a big accident. Han Bom is shocked to see the spirits of those who were in the crash coming toward her, showing that Ki-Joo’s plan failed.

As the spirits get close, Ki-Joo covers her eyes and tells her not to look. They’re safe inside a circle. The show ends with a memory of Ki-Joo as a student, making a protective circle around a girl. This makes us wonder about their past.

Review

It seems like Han Bom might take over the studio because Ki-Joo doesn’t have any family to inherit it. Her ability to see ghosts might be a clue. It’s possible that Go Dae-Ri’s blind date or the one who watched the show with him was Kim Ji-Won, Han Bom’s friend.

The special circle that keeps Bom and Ki-Joo safe seems to work only when they’re together, which might be linked to their past. Bom could be the child Ki-Joo saved from ghosts when he was younger. Even though stories about past connections are so typical of Kdramas, they help us understand the main character’s background and current problems.

<cib-overlay></cib-overlay>

<cib-overlay></cib-overlay>

Shine Smilehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08707984097503403445noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5668248261934018681.post-47075067864758241522024-03-26T04:36:00.000-07:002024-03-26T04:48:29.713-07:00[Mar 23 & 24] “Beauty and Mr. Romantic” Ep 1 & 2: Ratings, Recap, Review
KBS 2TV’s “Beauty and Mr. Romantic”—a love story with Im Soo Hyang and Ji Hyun Woo—began with a 15.3% rating, making it the top show on Saturday.

Its episode 2 also did really well. The young 13-year-old Dora, driven solely by the need to provide for her family, was led by her mother Baek Mi-ja (played by Cha Hwa-yeon) to earn money, and Mi-ja exploited her daughter Dora to repay debtors.

While collecting rice and groceries given to broken families, Dora met high school student Dae-chung and instantly fell for him after he helped carry her heavy load and escorted her home. Their first encounter sparked curiosity about their future story.

One day, Mi-ja, harassed by debt collectors, fled with her family under the cover of night. In their new home, Dora coincidentally met Dae-chung again and was overjoyed to discover that he was the son of the landlord Kim Sun-young (played by Yoon Yu-sun). Dora and Dae-chung were surprised to find each other, and Dora, believing their continued encounters to be fate, grew her affection for him day by day.

However, when Dora noticed Dae-chung seemingly had a girlfriend, she couldn’t hide her troubled feelings. So preoccupied with Dae-chung, she ultimately botched a drama child actor audition. Mi-ja, who saw her daughter as a means to make money, lashed out at the distraught Dora, leading to an explosive emotional conflict between mother and daughter.

In the neighborhood, bad rumors about Mi-ja spread far and wide, causing Dae-chung’s family to express their dissatisfaction with her. Dae-chung’s grandmother So Geum-ja (played by Lim Ye-jin) advised Sun-young to kick her out. But Dae-chung’s maternal grandfather Kim Jun-seop (played by Park Geun-hyung) felt sympathy for Mi-ja’s story and began to take care of her.

Meanwhile, the young Dae-chung experienced a period of wandering, meeting an older sister, and riding motorcycles. Noticing his behavior, Dora nagged him, saying, “Does your mom know you’re doing this?” and tried to change his mind. Dae-chung lied to avoid the situation but was quickly found out, and Dora exposed to Sun-young that Dae-chung was riding a motorcycle with another girl.

At the end of episode 1, Sun-young created a scene at the hair salon of the woman Dae-chung was seeing, grabbing her by the hair. Oh Kwang-rok appears as Moon-young’s father, who starts behaving oddly after meeting a man he calls a friend. On a rainy day, soaked to the bone, he appears before Moon-young, who has gone to bed, and declares that he must die for her to live. After witnessing this scene in a half-asleep state, the timeline shifts to the present.

Moon-young is a former prosecutor turned lawyer. As the representative attorney of Cha Woong Law Firm, she has been leading a happy life with her husband, Cha Seong-jae. Seong-jae, born as the son of a prominent family in the maritime region, seems to have grown up without any hardships. It appears that he has inherited the law firm from his father, aiming to continue his father’s legacy as the co-representative attorney alongside Moon-young.

Once known as a fierce prosecutor, likened to Wolverine for her tenacity, Moon-young has since built a harmonious family life after meeting her loving husband, Seong-jae. In this urgent situation, with the lawyer missing, Moon-young takes over the case.

The case involves Geumshin Corporation, where Seong-jae worked while in Seoul. The company has been buying up land to build a resort. During this process, a man resisting the sale is killed by an employee, Yoon-seon, who hits him with her car. There are witnesses who claim to have seen the man jump in front of the car, and a trial is underway regarding this incident. Moon-young, who attends the trial, senses a strange atmosphere.

Yoon-seon despairs upon learning that Moon-young has taken over the trial in Seong-jae’s absence. Meanwhile, the department head of Geumsan Corporation, Ma Kang, displays a grim expression. The witness, Do Jin-woo, seems to have a connection with Ma Kang, which raises suspicions. The atmosphere between Ma Kang and Jin-woo is notably tense, and the trial can't proceed. Following the absence of the responsible attorney, Yoon-seon also disappears after excusing herself to the restroom.

What could be the truth behind Seong-jae’s disappearance? Yoon-seon suspects that Seong-jae fled to live alone. Ma Kang is furious over Seong-jae’s disappearance. This situation suggests that Seong-jae was deeply involved with these individuals. Moon-young seeks help from her prosecutor friend Shin Hwa to find Seong-jae and discovers a shocking truth: Cha Woong Law Firm is buried in debt.

Seong-jae had kept this fact hidden from Moon-young, not wanting her to worry, and hinted at a significant sum of money coming in soon, suggesting his strong involvement with the Geumshin Corporation case. Moon-young’s suspicions turn into conviction when she meets Yoon-seon, who claims that she was framed for the man’s death because of Seong-jae. Yoon-seon had come to the courtroom believing she would be acquitted since Seong-jae had instructed her, but she fled when the attorney changed.

Moon-young could have learned more from Yoon-seon, but too much information in the first episode would spoil the fun. Yoon-seon, frightened by the appearance of Do Jin-woo, whom she thought was not following her, runs away, saying she can't trust Moon-young. “Hide” presents a mystery from the beginning but manages to pique interest by laying out the case in broad strokes.

Seong-jae seems to have been struggling with financial issues and sought help from Geumshin Corporation. He may have been involved in their illegal plan to acquire land for the resort. His disappearance before the trial suggests something significant happened, which seems to be the crux of the case.

<img alt="[Mar 23] "Hide" Ep 1: Rating, Recap, Review" border="0" data-original-height="543" data-original-width="966" height="360" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiwy9Q82rfiDGwldcGks2z-fWujWlS9T1ZZH188bWpXfjUox0EpdJmP9hI4b3BvrKxtUITWd50EPH3ralx1eJBjQEBHctzlOwl2aB5fYdpPHfbiry9FiIF-BGhhHNzHe6FHkS8DfwvGIf7Ndbe0AuIIFP7Ux2t_0zVVjHeE-1FGh4CT4ZF0Oo-srBLLzKY/w640-h360/4e2cb727-4028-4a62-be37-b01816cfcfff%20(1).jpg" title="[Mar 23] "Hide" Ep 1: Rating, Recap, Review" width="640" />

The ending of "Hide" episode 1 reveals Seong-jae’s death. A car burned in a fire is found at the bottom of a hill, with a body inside. The identity card and wedding ring suggest it might be Seong-jae. The body is too charred to recognize the face, hinting at a possible twist in the story.

The preview for episode 2 shows Moon-young seeking the truth about her husband. In the process, Jin-woo seems to discover the scene of Yoon-seon’s death, and Ma Kang threatens Moon-young. Ma Kang’s declaration of war, holding Moon-young by the throat, suggests the emergence of a ruthless villain. Given the modern setting, it’s unlikely that Seong-jae’s death is faked, as dental records can easily confirm identity. Unless the disguise is meticulously crafted, Seong-jae is likely dead.

The story appears intriguing, especially since Ha Yeon-joo’s character, played by Lee Chung-ah, has not yet fully joined the narrative. It was revealed that all of this was orchestrated by Seon-yul (played by Cha Eun-woo) to destroy Soo-hyun’s happiness.

Realizing that Seon-yul was the son of Kwon Ji-woong (played by Oh Man-seok), Soo-hyun warned him during a private meeting, recalling his past promise to let her meet Ji-woong’s son, “Tell him this. If he wants to torment me, that’s fine. But leave my family out of it.” Seon-yul provocatively replied, “That person also lost his father,” to which Soo-hyun retorted, “I lost my child. A mother who has unjustly lost her child will do anything,” continuing the tense standoff.

Do you know when human feel the most pain? To see your family be ruined in front of your own eyes. Like me right now. (Seon-yul)

Returning to the junkyard, Seon-yul unleashed his anger through boxing, vowing, “I’ll go to the end. Whether it’s the end for that woman or for me,” revealing a venomous look.

The episode also revealed Seon-yul’s meticulous plans to ruin Soo-hyun, waiting for “the moment she tries to be happy again” and capturing Soo-ho’s affair in photos. Seon-yul was also the one pressuring Soo-hyun and her mother Go Eun (played by Won Mi-kyung) with these photos, sending chills down the spine as his schemes were unveiled.

Soo-hyun sought out psychology professor Shi-ra (played by Jeon Hyun-ah) to ask why she deliberately switched victim information. And after re-requesting the information on the pension arson case, she finally met the actual victim, Min-hyuk (played by Jin Gun-woo).

However, Min-hyuk expressed his resentment, shouting, “You didn’t come here to ask for forgiveness, did you? Why dig up the past? Why prevent me from even resenting?” Soo-hyun empathized, “I’ve been through what you have. I lost my son unjustly, sought revenge, and even threw away my life. But I chose to live properly. You should choose too. Whether to continue living like this or to live properly for your parents’ sake.”

Seon-yul met with Hye-geum (played by Cha Soo-yeon) for work on behalf of Kim Joon (played by Park Hyuk-kwon) and received artwork. Yet, he discovered a cunningly hidden USB inside the packaged artwork and passed it to Soo-jin (played by Yang Hye-ji) for copying, revealing his meticulousness and raising questions about his intentions.

Later, when Kim Joon asked Seon-yul about the gift sent to Soo-ho, Seon-yul admitted his actions and confidently declared, “I will ensure that Kang Soo-ho doesn't hinder your path to the Blue House, Congressman,” signaling the start of his revenge.

At the end of “Wonderful World” episode 8, Soo-hyun, searching for a traffic accident video in a black box requested by a stranger, realized the video was missing. She then remembered that the man who asked her to check the black box was Yong-gu (played by Kim Woo-hyun), Seon-yul’s colleague from the junkyard. And the postcard he gave her depicted Francesca and Paolo, 2 lovers betrayed by those they loved. Just then, another video inside the black box caught her attention.

At that moment, Yuri’s biological mother, who had been abusive to Yuri since she was young, caused a scene at the editing shop, grabbing Yuri’s hair and shouting, “Ungrateful for being raised, how dare you to your mother,” shocking everyone. As Soo-hyun hurriedly tried to go there amidst the chaos, she paused upon realizing that the video in the black box showed her husband Soo-ho and Yuri, who was like a sister to her.

In the video, Soo-ho angrily asked Yuri, “Should I say that the woman in the photo is you? Is that what you want?” revealing that Yuri was the other party in the affair. Soo-hyun began to sob, covering her mouth in betrayal by Soo-ho and the sister-like Yuri.

However, as the camera moved outside the chaotic editing shop, Seon-yul was seen plugging in earphones and smiling leisurely, causing chills. It was all part of Seon-yul’s plan to bring Yuri’s mother to the shop and show Soo-hyun the video of Soo-ho’s mistress, Yuri. Seon-yul chillingly said, “Eun Soo-hyun, watch in agony,” raising anticipation for his future actions.

<cib-overlay></cib-overlay>

<cib-overlay></cib-overlay>

Review

I'm going to go all the way. until I reach her end… or mine. It’s heartbreaking, and you can’t fault him for the pain and suffering he’s endured. It’s not just about his father. His mother also suffered from losing her husband and now she’s in a coma. This has pushed him over the edge because he used to live a normal life as a medical student. After what happened to his mom, he’s completely changed and has devoted his life to getting revenge.

Moreover, it seems like the protagonist’s friend/sister accidentally left the door open because she was secretly seeing the protagonist’s husband. When her child got sick and she had to rush home, she hid, planning to leave when the wife came in. But she was in such a hurry that she didn’t close the door right.

Further, the person who really caused Gunwoo’s death might be the politician. Seon-yul’s dad was just blamed for it. Why? The politician is trying to get Seon-yul to return to medical school instead of seeking revenge. Isu regained his forgotten childhood memories with Kanghyun’s help and discovered that his mother, who died from an overdose of sleeping pills, didn't have any at the time, and someone had visited their house that day, pleading with Kanghyun to uncover the truth together.

The news of Myungchul being found dead at his villa turned the world upside down. The sleeping pills detected in the alcohol bottle Myungchul drank led to the assumption of suicide, and Isu, who had left the villa after harsh words with Myungchul, was consumed with guilt and sorrow. After a mournful funeral, Isu, back at the family home, finally realized how much Myungchul loved him and his mother, shedding tears of regret that touched our hearts.

Suspicious circumstances surrounding Myungchul’s death began to emerge. Kanghyun sensed it was no coincidence that Myungchul died from an overdose of sleeping pills, just like Sunyoung did 25 years ago. Kanghyun learned from forensic scientist Dr. Yoon (Jung Ga Hee) that there were no sleeping pills found around Myungchul’s body. Moreover, after revisiting Sunyoung’s case records from 25 years ago in an old archive, Kanghyun confirmed that there were no sleeping pills found around her body either, leading her to suspect that someone had intentionally poisoned both with sleeping pills.

Isu also didn't believe Myungchul committed suicide. Summoning Kanghyun, Isu was convinced of foul play, asserting that Myungchul, who had tried to pour him a drink at the villa, wouldn't have given him alcohol laced with sleeping pills. However, the circumstantial evidence was full of holes.

Understanding Isu’s desperate feelings, Kanghyun advised him to focus on recalling the person who visited their home 25 years ago and reassured him that his resignation hadn't been accepted, urging him to return to Team 1.

Meanwhile, the Han Soo Group’s board showed movements to appoint Seungju (Kwak Si Yang) as the chairman. However, Director Choi (Kim Myung Soo), who knew everything about the Han Soo family, couldn't hide his uneasy feelings. Upon receiving a call from Kanghyun, Director Choi testified that Myungchul never took sleeping pills, and it was Heeja who had been taking them regularly.

Team 1, searching around Myungchul’s villa, speculated that the culprit was someone familiar with the interior of the villa. They began to seriously consider murder as the cause of both Sunyoung and Myungchul’s deaths, with Heeja and Seungju emerging as suspects.

At the same time, Isu, under hypnosis, remembered that Heeja was the person who visited their home 25 years ago. And upon returning to Team 1, he revealed this fact, making Heeja a prime suspect in Sunyoung’s murder.

Kanghyun proposed 2 possibilities:

one scenario was that Heeja committed the crime 25 years ago and Seungju the recent one;

the other was that Heeja was responsible for both.

Later, CCTV footage from around Myungchul’s residence showed a car leaving late at night on the day of the incident, but the driver couldn't be identified. And the car’s black box footage was sought after by Director Choi, only to find that the memory card had already been disposed of by someone.

As Kanghyun targeted Heeja and Seungju in the investigation, Isu, convinced of Heeja’s guilt, confronted Seungju with a declaration of war. Seungju told Isu that he seemed to be about to become the chairman and asked for his help at the company, but Isu, investigating his mother’s case, revealed that Heeja had visited his mother 25 years ago. He then told Seungju, “Whatever happens from now on, I have no choice but to do it,” showing his strong determination to investigate.

However, contrary to Isu’s trust in Seungju, Seungju was revealed to be a horrific murderer, causing chills. On the night of Myungchul’s death, Heeja witnessed Seungju taking her sleeping pills and leaving the house. While Heeja begged Seungju, asking if he had met the father and pleading, “Please say it’s not true,” Seungju calmly replied, “It’s what mom wanted. You always said to get Han Soo Group by any means necessary.” Then, Seungju chillingly told Heeja, “It’s all done now. So from now on, you know nothing. Just keep living as you are, drinking.” This plunged Heeja into extreme fear.

At the end of episode 15, the inauguration ceremony for the new chairman of Han Soo Group took place. As Isu watched, Seungju ascended the stage, leaving us in shock.

With this, the final investigation by Ahn Bohyun, who believed he had only one ally, his brother, and is now facing the endgame, draws intense interest in the final episode of “Flex x Cop.”

(Source: naver.com)

<cib-overlay></cib-overlay>

<cib-overlay></cib-overlay>
Shine Smilehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08707984097503403445noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5668248261934018681.post-18274233080944675752024-03-23T04:06:00.000-07:002024-03-23T04:08:05.361-07:00[Mar 22] “Wonderful World" Ep 7: Rating, Recap, Review
MBC’s “Wonderful World” got better ratings. The way the characters interact is fine. What I also really enjoy about this show is that they don’t keep secrets hidden for too long.

It feels like nobody really wins. Soo-hyun ended his father’s life, and his father was blamed for taking her son’s life, which isn’t true, but she believes he did it. She might have acted because he didn’t show any sadness or regret, and she was grieving for her only child.

On the other hand, Seon-yul’s father is gone, and he holds Soo-hyun responsible. But his father wasn’t a good man and didn’t care much for her son. It’s hard to feel bad for him. I get it, though, because in the end, that was his father, and he was taken away unfairly, but from Soo-hyun’s view, he got what he deserved.

It’s all very sad. If only they could understand each other’s feelings. I think this is why we don’t believe in "an eye for an eye" anymore; it only leads to more trouble. “Wonderful World" seems to be saying that seeking revenge only causes more sadness.

Besides, I’m curious about this unknown son of Kim-joon that Su-ho talked about and if he’s important. Maybe it’s Seon-yul (I doubt it, but you never know with these dramas). Or it could be the neighbor’s child. I can’t think of anyone else.

Morever, Han Yoo-ri looks guilty of having an affair; you can see the fear in her eyes when she talks to Soo-hyun and her sneaky husband. I’m wondering how Yoo ri got the money to start her business. Maybe Soo-ho gave her the money. There seem to be a lot of secrets that will come out soon.

<cib-overlay></cib-overlay>

<cib-overlay></cib-overlay>

(Source: naver.com)
Shine Smilehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08707984097503403445noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5668248261934018681.post-54931498954731120802024-03-21T04:06:00.000-07:002024-03-21T04:06:38.023-07:00"The Impossible Heir" Episodes 7 & 8: Recap & Review
The 6th episode ends with Tae-Oh waking up to find his hands covered in blood and Inju and a lady, lying dead before him. The unique relationship between the world’s only photographer, Joo Won, and the world’s only mutant, Kwon Nara, begins in earnest, causing a surge in anticipation.

In the 4th episode, the guest who visited Joo Won (Seo Ki-joo)’s photo studio was none other than Han Bom (Kwon Nara)'s grandmother, So Geum-soon (Kim Young-ok). Although she had lived a full life and had no regrets, there was one thing that prevented her from leaving this world: checking the list of donations from her own funeral!

Geum-soon, who was expected to want to meet her granddaughter Bom, instead asked to keep her visit to the photo studio a secret, causing confusion. Prioritizing the guest’s request, Ki-joo consoled the devastated Bom, saying, “Grandmother lived without regrets, so there was no need for her to visit the photo studio.”

Faced with her grandmother’s sudden death, Bom was filled with regret. She had thought spring would always follow winter and regretted not being able to enjoy flower viewing with her grandmother, who loved it. Geum-soon, who had tirelessly raised Bom, was heartbroken by the fact that she couldn’t see the flowers she loved within the 3 days before the spirit’s door closed.

When Bom learned that her grandmother had come to the photo studio as a guest, she tearfully suggested, “Let’s go see the flowers,” even though Geum-soon wasn't visible. However, Geum-soon didn't budge and instead angrily insisted on collecting the funeral donations, saying, “Get my blood-like money.”

During her lifetime, Geum-soon meticulously recorded all the condolence money from acquaintances in a ledger. With the help of photo studio employees Ko Dae-ri (Yoo In-soo) and Baek Nam-goo (Eum Moon-suk), she obtained the list of funeral donations and compared it. It was unclear why the money was so important to Geum-soon, but it turned out to be her love for Bom, her "precious child worth more than gold."

After losing her parents in an accident and becoming alone, Bom was dearly raised by Geum-soon. Thus, Geum-soon wanted Bom, who had many days ahead, not to be left alone during times of celebration or sorrow and attended every condolence event without fail. Even after Geum-soon’s passing, she hoped that those who remembered her would also remember Bom.

There was a reason she refused a final meeting with her granddaughter. Bom, who had survived the accident alone and witnessed her parents’ death, was still trapped in that nightmare. Geum-soon couldn't appear to her in death and give her another nightmare. It was a moment that filled us with a deep emotion that was hard to fathom.

Ki-joo, who had suddenly lost his only family member, his uncle Seo Ki-won (Park Ki-woong), knew all too well the pain of those left behind without a chance to say goodbye. That’s why he broke the photographer’s principle for the first time.

He tried to persuade Geum-soon to change her mind. Moreover, he took the risk of outdoor photography, despite the threat of ghosts, to hold "Bom’s Night Cherry Blossom Festival" for Geum-soon.

Together with Dae-ri and Nam-goo, they laid a path of flowers in front of the snack truck where Geum-soon had worked all her life and set up a large screen with blooming flowers. The neighborhood ghosts, lured with chicken, even scattered flower petals in the air, creating a convincing flower outing.

As Ki-joo pressed the shutter for the first time, Geum-soon and Bom, dressed in a fancy floral dress, met. Geum-soon’s only concern was for her granddaughter until the end. She encouraged Bom, who thought lowly of herself, saying, “You are my pride, the best, and number one. Live confidently because I acknowledge you,” and left a desperate plea, “Don’t remember me for too long, don’t long for me, don’t be sad.”

Finally, Bom was able to let go of Geum-soon, saying, “Grandmother is the spring of my life.” The touching final farewell of the two filled the comment section with viewers’ posts saying, “I also cried endlessly with them.” (same here~)

Returning to her daily life, Bom greeted the last photo with her grandmother, saying, “I’ll be back,” and left the house for a meeting. But an unexpected twist hit her hard. Encountering Dae-ri, who had been following her, she asked Ki-joo, “How long will I be able to see these ghosts?”

Although minor side effects had occurred to those who visited the photo studio, even Ki-joo hadn't anticipated such a tremendous aftermath. Lacking the "safe zone" ability to repel ghosts, Bom had now become a mutant human who could see ghosts. Will the drama will end with a broken engagement or if the two will reunite for a happy ending.

Sunssoon (Yoon Mi-ra) became furious upon learning that Hyosim (Uee) had donated her liver to Chooryeon (Nam Kyung-eup). “How could you put your younger sister, who’s about to get married the day after tomorrow, into surgery without consulting your mother?” she vented her resentment to her eldest son Hyosung (Nam Seong-jin), which then extended to Chooryeon.

After Chooryeon left home when Hyosim was 9, she became a dear daughter to Sunssoon, taking on the role of a husband. When Sunssoon felt unbearably lonely, Hyosim would comfort her with her small, fiddlehead-like hands. And at an age when she should have been enjoying herself, she only wore tracksuits and worked tirelessly, worrying about living expenses and her brothers’ tuition fees.

Chooryeon, who had been unaware of the family’s circumstances, pleaded to take on the role of a father now. But Sunssoon firmly drew the line, saying that she would let Hyosim go to meet a good man and live well, telling him to “never show up again.”

After the surgery, the family couldn’t hide their feelings of remorse towards Hyosim. Especially Hyojun (Seol Jeong-hwan), who had been oblivious to the family’s situation due to his bar exam, couldn’t even face Hyosim.

The family gathered in the hospital room, all feeling guilty and rooting for Hyosim’s speedy recovery. Ruby (Lee Ga-yeon), the niece, said, “In our society, good people are subtly ignored and taken advantage of, but I believe their value should not be belittled. My aunt’s life is much more valuable and deserving of respect,” delivering a fact bomb.

However, Hyosim didn’t find the family’s sentiments pleasant or comfortable. After everyone had left for the night, she turned on her phone, which had been off, and was greeted by desperate text notifications from Taeho (Hajun), who had been waiting for her contact.

Tears flowed at Taeho’s earnestness, saying, “It’s okay to be angry or curse, just please contact me.”. Hyosim, looking at the large surgical scar on her abdomen, felt even more sorrowful and cried out loud.

Taeho, who belatedly received news of Hyosim’s surgery from Hyosung, rushed to the hospital like mad. But Hyosim wasn't there. Despondent, Taeho headed to Jeju Island. He did so because a former training center colleague of Hyosim had told, “Let’s go on a trip to Jeju Island when we have time.”

Staring blankly at the Jeju sea, Hyosim felt too ashamed to face Taeho, who had come looking for her. She felt terribly sorry for choosing her family over Taeho again. However, for Taeho, that didn’t matter. He was determined to protect Hyosim so she wouldn’t feel sorry for the people around her or the world anymore, and to live her life without sacrificing for others.

But that night, Hyosim seemed to have made up her mind about something. After leaving a long letter and seeing Taeho asleep, she cried, packed her bags, and left for somewhere.

The preview for the final episode showed that a year had passed since Hyosim disappeared, and Taeho, who had still been waiting for her, saw her being interviewed on a TV program and ran out frantically. The reasons for Hyosim’s departure and, more importantly, whether Hyosim and Taeho will indeed have a happy reunion, are the focus of the final episode.

Episode 51 (Finale)

I can’t figure out why Hyosim just up and left. Older folks watch these weekend dramas, and writers usually keep that in mind, but I don’t think even they would relate to Hyosim’s story. She was used by her family and then by her dad who wasn’t around for ages.

I was looking forward to Grandma Choi Myunghee’s part after she got away, but she didn’t do much, which was a bummer. But I have to say, the writer did a good job with Kang Taemin, who was sad a lot, and Kang Taehee, who thought someone else was her dad. That was done well.

The sequel to “Live Your Own Life” is “Beauty and Mr. Romantic” by writer Kim Sakyung and starring Im Soohyang and Ji Hyunwoo. At first, it looked like he didn’t love her anymore and just wanted to make sure she left him something in her will. But it’s obvious Hyeon-woo still cares for Hae-in. He got jealous when Eun-seon showed interest in her, quickly saved her from a wild boar, and he’s still unsure about his feelings.

His uncertainty is also troubling for Hae-in. She thinks he wants to get back together, not guessing he might be after her money. But the twist is, he could be trying to get back with her without even knowing it. This makes for an interesting story.

What’s Eun-seong doing? In "Queen of Tears," Eun-seong is the bad guy. At first, he just seemed to be causing trouble between Hae-in and Hyeon-woo. But by episode 4, we see he’s actually against the whole Queen Empire.

Eun-seong plans to take legal action against Chairman Hong Man-dae over some money issues. He’s trying to take over, and Hae-in is just a way for him to get closer to his goal. This also shows how important family ties are, especially with Hae-in’s mother favoring Soo-cheol, who Eun-seong is also dealing with in business.

Besides, the show talks about social class, which helps us understand why Hyeon-woo and Hae-in’s marriage didn’t work out. Their families were too different in terms of money and status, so they never really connected.

In marriages, families usually come together, not just the couple. Hae-in and Hyeon-woo didn’t have that support. Hae-in tries to fix this, but it might be too late.

How does episode 4 end?

Hae-in goes to Hyeon-woo’s hometown because his sister asked her to. Her dad is running for office, and her being there could help him win. Her visit causes a stir in the town.

Hyeon-woo is confused and comes back home. He finds Hae-in in a daze, not knowing where she is. He helps her again, showing their marriage mightn't be over yet.

Review

He still loves her, but after they lost their child, he's been unable to show it. It's not their fault; misunderstandings happen. Losing a newborn is like losing a part of themselves. His heart is so full of the hurt from before that he can't see his true feelings for his wife.

Also, every episode makes me like Hae-in even more. This one revealed she’s not heartless; she looks after her parents despite her mom’s harshness, and she’s kind to her husband’s family. She truly loves her husband. She was caring even before she got sick. People thought she was cold because she didn’t show her feelings, but they were wrong.

The next episode’s preview is heartbreaking. I was curious when she’d learn about the divorce he wants. It’s good they didn’t stretch the story, but it’s still upsetting. She believed she could rely on him. Yet, it’s important she knows the truth, as he must be truthful and decide. If he can’t fully support her, he should let her go.

I suspect the grandfather’s girlfriend, the second male lead, and the matchmaker. As things calmed down, everyone, including Ba-da, started to move forward with their lives. Ba-da’s new enthusiasm for work touched his family deeply.

Yet, Jeong-woo’s late arrival interrupted the peace, not realizing Ba-da was the one who made the noodles he just criticized. Surprised and pleased by Ba-da’s efforts, Jeong-woo inquired about Ha-neul’s response to his marriage proposal, but she delayed answering, recalling a recent distraction.

Excited about getting paid by his uncle, Ba-da treated Ha-neul to a meal. The following day, Jeong-woo’s conversation with Dae-young left him questioning his own rush. Ha-neul then called Jeong-woo to invite him to a fancy dinner by the Han River.

Jeong-woo was thrilled, expecting a yes to his proposal. However, that night, Ha-neul needed to talk about an overseas job offer instead, leaving Jeong-woo supportive but secretly upset. Alone, he showed his reluctance to let Ha-neul go. Dae-young noticed Jeong-woo’s sadness the next day.

A customer’s outburst at Dae-young was interrupted by Hong-ran, who stepped in to help, reversing their roles of protector. Nurse Do’s resignation to travel left Dae-young reflective, and he shared his thoughts with Jeong-woo, who then supported Ha-neul’s decision, despite their mutual sadness.

But Ha-neul’s opportunity was given to someone else, leading to more confusion as Jeong-woo started planning dates before her expected departure. Misunderstandings grew, involving her family too. Jeong-woo’s discovery of a message on Ha-neul’s phone ended a farewell party abruptly, and he apologized for his mistake.

Ha-neul openly shared her feelings, pleased with the changes in her life. The woman found in the car trunk, Ms. Miyeon, is taken to the hospital to wake up. Seung-ju doesn’t share any information with I-soo during questioning. Hyeonbae is smug because they haven’t found any murder weapon or strong proof against him.

When Seung-ju’s lawyers come, the senior officer and Kang-hyun talk to Seung-ju. He then tells them how he met Daehoon at a party and how Daehoon began to threaten his mother, Heeja. Seung-ju explains that Daehoon blackmailed his mother for a lot of money because he had evidence of her past affair. This surprises I-soo. Seung-ju insists he had nothing to do with the murder and didn’t plan it. After being listed as a witness, not a suspect, Seung-ju is let go.

Unraveling the conspiracy

Hyeonbae’s lawyer shows up, and they talk. Shocked by what he learns, I-soo decides to uncover the real story to protect his family’s good name. Joon-young talks to Miyeon, who admits she introduced Heeja to her boyfriend. She also says she met Hyeonbae and asked him to scare Daehoon, but they got greedy and killed him to extort more money from Heeja.

Joon-young finds out the real murderer isn’t Hyeonbae but his younger brother, Hyeontae. But Hyeontae has run away to the Philippines, making it tough for the police to catch him. Hyeonbae admits he’s the killer and hands over the murder weapon. The case is closed, but the police aren't happy because they know another killer is free, and the person who told them to kill Daehoon is still unknown.

Seung-ju visits his shocked mother in the hospital. He confronts her, revealing he knows Daehoon’s identity and that she ordered the hit. It turns out Daehoon is Seung-ju’s real dad, and to make her son the head of Hansu Group, she had men kill Daehoon. Daehoon was just using his DNA test to get money from Heeja.

I-soo also discovers this truth from Daehoon’s old photos of Seung-ju. I-soo meets Heeja in the hospital and says he’ll arrest her, but she pleads with him to think of Seung-ju. Knowing about Daehoon and his connection to Seung-ju, I-soo’s dad calls a press conference and says he’s quitting the race for mayor.

I-soo hands in his resignation to Kang-hyun because he can’t dishonor his family. At home, he sees a broken stair and remembers his childhood. He recalls hiding a sleeping pill from his mother and wonders how she died from an overdose. I-soo senses something’s off and goes to question his dad at his guesthouse.

There, he asks his dad about his mom’s death and why his memory was erased. The scene shifts to I-soo leaving, and his dad passes away in his chair.

Review

So, the main bad guy is Heeja. She’s the one who killed I-soo’s mom to live richly and make her son the boss of Hansu Group. We’ll learn more about these facts in the final episodes. Soon, we’ll also see Seung-ju’s true nature. Will he protect his mom, or will he realize she should pay for what she’s done?

“Flex x Cop” is great, but I hope the final 2 episodes wrap up the story well without hurrying and breaking any hearts, including ours (the viewers). The twist ending revealed that Seon-yul was actually the biological son of Ji-woong (played by Oh Man-seok), whom Soo-hyun had killed.

Soo-hyun, who encountered Seon-yul in Eun-min’s (played by Kang Myung-joo) hospital room, was shocked and asked, “How did you get here?” At that moment, the ECG alarm sounded, signaling Eun-min’s critical condition.

In an unexpected emergency, Seon-yul attempted CPR on Eun-min as if he couldn’t see anything, raising doubts about their relationship. It was only when led away by the medical team that Seon-yul regained his composure, while Soo-hyun was left only with confusion.

Fortunately, as Eun-min’s condition stabilized, Soo-hyun expressed curiosity about the relationship between Seon-yul and Eun-min. To this, Seon-yul deflected, saying, “I don’t like seeing people die. What about you?” implying that he had merely saved a critically ill person by chance.

After escaping the chaotic situation, Seon-yul calmed himself by running on a treadmill until he was out of breath. Soo-jin (played by Yang Hye-ji), who was watching, expressed concern, saying, “You shouldn’t run like this. What kind of heart do you have? We both would have struggled to survive our heart conditions if it weren’t for you.” Seon-yul then chillingly revealed, “I met that woman there yesterday. Aren’t you curious? What expression would that son have?”

Meanwhile, Soo-hyun learned from her brother-in-law, Dr. Tae-ho (played by Jin Gun-woo), that Eun-min had a son. She realized that the perpetrator who sent her the photos of Su-ho’s (played by Kim Kang-woo) affair could be Ji-woong’s son.

Also, after confirming that the perpetrator’s car was speeding at 115 km/h in a 30 km/h zone at the time of Eun-min’s accident, Soo-hyun recalled a reporter’s comment that “it seems more like an incident than an accident.” Believing the accident to be incomprehensible, Soo-hyun began a thorough investigation into Eun-min’s traffic accident.

On the other hand, Su-ho tearfully apologized to Sooo-hyun's mom Go-eun (played by Won Mi-kyung). He sobbed, “I’ve also lost a child. I couldn’t even cry out loud for fear of losing Soo-hyun as well. I must have been out of my mind. I’m truly sorry, mother.”

Overhearing this behind a wall, Soo-hyun also held back tears. She told Su-ho, “I don’t know how long it will take to repair our relationship, but I’m going to try my best.”

Seon-yul rushed to the hospital upon hearing that Min-hyuk, who was seriously injured and had undergone surgery, was visited by illegal gambling den associates. In a situation where they tried to force unconscious Min-hyuk to stamp a body abandonment document, Seon-yul tore the document and shouted, “Are you even human? Doing this to someone unconscious,” and threw himself to save Min-hyuk.

Soo-hyun, who happened to find Seon-yul at the hospital, was surprised to see him fighting in the hallway. She expressed concern, saying, “For the sake of your parents, I can’t stand to see you ruin yourself any longer,” but Seon-yul coldly turned away, retorting, “Is that advice or an order? You’re a murderer. Live your life properly.” Hearing the word "murderer," Soo-hyun was frozen in place.

In the meantime, Kim Jun (played by Park Hyuk-kwon) raised his election support by attending the sports day of an environmental activist’s daughter, who couldn’t attend due to her father’s crane protest. However, his support among female voters was still weaker than his competitors.

To address this, he devised a strategy to use the popular anchor Su-ho and instructed Seon-yul to look into Su-ho’s photos and personal information. At that moment, Han-sang, hired by Su-ho, secretly captured the meeting between Seon-yul and the secretary on camera, raising expectations for future developments.

Later, Soo-hyun, thinking it strange that Seon-yul, who had lashed out at her with harsh words, visited a scrapyard. Seon-yul explained, “I wanted to do something for you. I’ve only ever received from you,” and then added, “That patient’s son was there that day. I felt like him. I couldn’t let him lose his mother too.”

As it grew dark and Soo-hyun was about to leave in her car, Seon-yul noticed her tire was flat and offered to help, saying, “It looks like your tire is flat, shall I fill it up for you?” Then, looking up at the stars in the sky, Seon-yul shared the myth of the constellation Pisces, where mother Aphrodite and son Eros cling to each other to avoid separation. Seon-yul then relaxed, saying, “I thought you wouldn’t come to see me again.” Soo-hyun replied, “Did you think I would be your guardian with just that kind of sentiment? I will continue to meddle in your life.”

Meanwhile, Soo-hyun, who was at a restaurant with Su-ho, suddenly remembered that the victim of the "Pension Arson Fire" incident had a phobia of fire. She also recalled that Seon-yul could light firewood without any issue and that he had no scar on his left shoulder, which added to her confusion.

At that moment, Seon-yul, who visited Eun-min’s hospital room, touched her hand to his face and called out “Mom.” The veil was finally lifted, revealing that Seon-yul wasn't the victim of the "Pension Arson Fire" incident but the son of Ji-woong, whom Soo-hyun had killed.

Concurrently, Soo-hyun ended episode 6 with strong suspicion about Seon-yul’s identity, asking, “Seon-yul, who are you?” “Wonderful World”’s stormy development continued to unfold, heightening our immersion.

<cib-overlay></cib-overlay>

Review

The lady in the hospital is Seon-yul’s mom. I don’t think he wants to get back at her. He might be after the congressman he works for.

Deep down, he probably knows Soo-hyun is also hurt, even though her hands caused his father’s death. His family fell apart, his life is at rock bottom, and his mom is in a coma. But he can’t be mad at her because his dad caused it all.

What if his dad did all that just so Seon-yul could get a “new heart”? If he finds out that his own troubles caused all this, it would be really sad.

Also, I know it’s just a show, but the cheating part bothers me. It seems like they’re saying it’s okay to stay with someone who cheats. But if a relationship is built on lies and cheating, it won’t last. Once someone cheats, they might do it again. I think once trust is broken, it’s gone forever.

Moreover, I still think Soo-hyun’s sister isn't nice. I believe she and Su-ho have been secretly together from the start. She left his house without him noticing and left the door open.

The neighbor saw her and felt weird when Soo-hyun came back to that house. They met at a hotel because Su-ho thought she might have sent a picture. Was she also cheating with him, or was she lying to protect Soo-hyun from getting hurt by her sister having an affair with Su-ho?

<cib-overlay></cib-overlay>

(Source: naver.com)
Shine Smilehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08707984097503403445noreply@blogger.com0
