Do You Think Korean Girls Are Really Beautiful?

Looks are important in South Korea, and people here, including girls, generally pay attention to their appearance.

The Korean wave (Hallyu) has greatly influenced the image formation of Korea to the world. Idols, singers, actors appear on TV, live shows, etc. with their perfect looks. Some may think Korean people are beautiful with white skin, slim figure, and great fashion sense. Others may think that just celebrities are beautiful while normal people are so so, even ugly. They have to rely on plastic surgery to have a better appearance.

Having lived in South Korea for a while, I have seen many beautiful Korean girls.

1. They have beautiful skin

It is not exaggerated to say that South Korea is the paradise of cosmetics and personal care. They have a wide variety of skincare and beauty products that help to take care of yourself, from head to toe. Shops are almost everywhere; you can find them on most corners and in subway stations. Aside from skincare dedication, favorable climate and low-glycemic diet help them to maintain a good complexion.

2. They have perfect make-up face

Most girls will wear makeup daily, not just for special occasions. Make-up makes their skin glowy, dewy and improves their appearance.

3. They are incredibly stylish

There are countless stalls and shops in Seoul featuring a wide array of ladies' fashion, accessories.

Koreans love to look their best. Stroll down the streets or step into a subway, you will feel like you are admiring a fashion show. The girls wear casually but still look amazing and fabulous. I do love their fashions!

4. Korean girls are confident

Because they are bloody stylish and wear pretty make-up. Their confidence makes them even more attractive. You know, the best accessory a girl can own is confidence.

5. They are adorable

South Korea has earned a reputation as a global center for plastic surgery. Plastic surgery is common, with double-eyelid surgery as the most popular procedure. Still, that doesn't mean all of them are ugly before the surgery. Many girls who are already beautiful rely on plastic surgery to perfect their looks. Let alone, many are a natural beauty. Let's see school students; many of them look naturally pretty.

6. Their inner beauty has impressed me!

Of course, there are good and bad people out there. I would not say all of Koreans are nice, but maybe I am lucky enough to meet many friendly, helpful, and generous Korean women. As I am very bad at navigation, I sometimes got lost while traveling in South Korea. One time, as I couldn't find the way to my guesthouse in Seoul, I asked a girl for direction. She didn't know, neither though, she asked people around about it and took me well to my guesthouse. Another time in Daegu, one Korean woman helped me to find a good Jimjilbang and even drove me there because I got lost, couldn't find a place to stay at night, and it was too late to catch a bus or a subway. Those might be small good deeds, but for me, they carried a double punch. The kind-hearted women are beautiful inside and out, indeed.
