Before you embark on a trip to South Korea, make sure you memorize these common Korean words.
When travelling in South Korea, you can use English as a means of communication. Though many Koreans speak English, you may find that many of them struggle to understand English in a real conversation as a result of their limited chance to practice. Also, the locals would appreciate tourists making an effort by having conversations with a words or two in Korean. That way could help enhance your new relationships. You know, ❝if you talk to a man in a language he understands, that goes to his head. If you talk to him in his own language, that goes to his heart❞ (Nelson Mandela). It doesn't matter if you make a mistake in pronunciation, grammar - the effort you put in is often greatly appreciated. Restroom: 화장실 [hwajangsil]
School: 학교 [haggyo]
