I'll also share the recipe for spicy stewed saury that goes well with rice!
■ Main Ingredients:
Saury marinated in rice wine (5 fish/1500g), Boiled cabbage (200g), Red pepper (1), Green pepper (1), Green onion (170g)
■ Seasoning Ingredients: Rice wine (4T), Miso (1T), Gochujang (1T), Ginger (30g), Sugar (1/2T), Soy sauce (4T), Red pepper powder (1T), Dried red pepper flakes (1T), Garlic (15g), Water (1cup/200ml)
■ Stewed Saury Fish Cooking Procedure
1. Slice the garlic (15g) and julienne the ginger (30g)
2. Cut the green onion (170g) diagonally
3. Cut the red pepper (1 piece) and green pepper (1 piece) in half and julienne them
4. Make a sauce by mixing rice wine (4T), soy sauce (4T), gochujang (1T), miso (1T), sugar (1/2T), red pepper powder (1T), and dried red pepper flakes (1T)
5. Put the saury (5 fish/1500g) marinated in rice wine in a pot, add the sauce, water (1 cup/200ml), cover and bring to a boil
✔ Thaw the frozen saury in ice water with salt
✔ Pour the water on the side so that the sauce does not wash off
6. Add the boiled cabbage (200g)and the prepared vegetables, cover, and simmer for about 3 minutes
✔ Ladle the broth over the vegetables and boil until done
7. Serve the stewed saury fish in a bowl
