Park Ji Hoon → Hong Ye Ji's Script Reading... A Bloody Romance That Will Take Your Breath Away

KBS2 has revealed some pictures from the first script reading of its upcoming drama “Love Song for Illusion”!

The drama is based on a popular webtoon with the same title, and it is a historical fantasy romance that shows the passionate love and obsession between a man who has two different personalities and a woman who loves him.

The director Lee Jung Seob, the writer Yoon Kyung Ah, and the actors Park Ji Hoon, Hong Ye Ji, Hwang Hee, Ji Woo, Kim Dong Won, Kim Tae Woo, Woo Hyun, Kang Shin Il, Hwang Seok Jeong, Woo Hee Jin, and others attended the script reading.

The actors showed chemistry and immersed themselves in their roles. Park Ji Hoon plays the double roles of Crown Prince Sajo Hyun and his other self Ak Hee. Sajo Hyun is a smart and artistic person who works as a fashion designer at a downtown shop while hiding his identity as the crown prince. He has a deep scar in his heart from his childhood because of his cruel father Sajo Seung. Ak Hee is a charming and seductive person who can easily attract others, but he suffers from a curse that makes him feel extreme pain when he touches someone. Park Ji Hoon displayed his versatility, switching between the two characters with subtle changes in his voice, eyes, gestures, and expressions.

Hong Ye Ji plays Yeon Wol, who has a life full of ups and downs, from being an assassin to a concubine. Yeon Wol is the royal descendant of the fallen Yeon Dynasty and the only daughter of Yeon Poong Hak. Yeon Wol hides her identity and becomes the assassin Gye Ra to get revenge for her family. Hong Ye Ji matched her character very well, raising expectations for how she and Park Ji Hoon's character will interact, especially in the love triangle and their chaotic relationship that is full of arguments.

Hwang Hee portrays Prince Sajo Yoong, the older half-brother of Crown Prince Sajo Hyun. Prince Sajo Yoong is known as the sweet guy of the palace who can easily win people's hearts with his kindness. Ji Woo plays Geum Hwa, the Crown Prince's wife who will do anything to get what she wants. Ji Woo captured the complexity of her character, who has both good and evil sides, making her role more intriguing.

Moreover, Kim Dong Won, Kim Tae Woo, Woo Hyun, Kang Shin Il, Hwang Seok Jeong, Woo Hee Jin, and others also enriched the drama with their impressive and expressive performances.
