“The Story Of Park’s Marriage Contract”: Lee Se Young and Bae In Hyuk Clash

MBC's new Friday and Saturday drama "The Story of Park’s Marriage Contract" (written by Ko Nam-jung and directed by Park Sang-hoon) will premiere on November 24 at 9:50 p.m. It is a drama that depicts a golden contract marriage between Park Yeon-woo, a 19th-century Confucian woman who transcended death and arrived in Korea in 2023, and Kang Tae-ha.

Lee Se-young plays Park Yeon-woo, a woman from Joseon who comes to South Korea in 2023 and enters into a contract marriage with Kang Tae-ha (Bae In-hyuk), while Bae In-hyuk plays Kang Tae-ha, a rational and aloof vice president of SH Group. The two show various charms through their romantic relationship that spans 19th-century Joseon and 21st-century modern times.

In this regard, the scene of a fight in which Lee Se-young and Bae In-hyuk confronted each other without any compromise was revealed. In the drama, Kang Tae-ha (Bae In-hyuk) chases after Park Yeon-woo (Lee Se-young) and blocks her way. Park Yeon-woo, who was walking on the street, turns around and glares at Kang Tae-ha with a sharp look. Meanwhile, Kang Tae Ha is standing in front of her defiantly with his hands resting on his waist

However, Park Yeon-woo does not back down and suddenly headbutts Kang Tae-ha's chin.

Lee Se-young and Bae In-hyuk arrived at the set early to rehearse the scene of the fiery confrontation that was filmed in the middle of the street and showed their passion by practicing repeatedly while matching their harmony. Lee Se-young and Bae In-hyuk exchanged opinions while meticulously analyzing everything from the timing of the headbutt to the pose of hitting the chin and falling back, and performed without hesitation to create a lively scene.

The production team said, "The Story of Park’s Marriage Contract" is a classic romantic comedy, and Lee Se-young and Bae In-hyuk will display a different 'tiki-taka chemistry' at the beginning of the drama and attract interest" and added, "Please watch how Lee Se-young and Bae In-hyuk will portray Park Yeon-woo and Kang Tae-ha in a delicious way that looks like a bad relationship but is actually connected by a strong bond."
