This abalone dish is not only tasty but also nutritious! Make the most of the abalone by cooking them with rice and other ingredients in a pot.~
■ Main Ingredients:
Whole abalone (5 pieces), rice (1 cup/200 g), kelp broth (1 cup/200 ml), abalone liver (5 pieces), glutinous rice (1/4 cup/50 g), seasoned soy sauce (2 Tbsp), carrot (20 g), chives (10 g), rice wine (3 Tbsp), ginkgo nuts (20 pieces), shiitake mushrooms (10 g), sesame oil (1 Tbsp), soy sauce (1 tsp), butter (5 g)
■ Abalone Dish Recipe:
1. Score the whole abalone (1 piece) with a cross. The abalone that is caught in good weather is clean and odorless.
2. Add soy sauce (1 tsp) and rice wine (1 tsp) to the abalone and marinate for 10 minutes.
3. Heat sesame oil (1 Tbsp) in a hot pot, add rice (1 cup/200 g), glutinous rice (1/4 cup/50 g), abalone liver (5 pieces), and rice wine (1 Tbsp) and stir-fry over high heat until dry. Fry the abalone liver until it turns opaque and dry.
4. Add kelp broth (1 cup/200 ml), bring to a boil and then lower the heat.
5. Chop carrot (20 g) and slice shiitake mushrooms (10 g).
6. When the broth boils, add seasoned soy sauce (2 Tbsp).
7. Add carrot and shiitake mushrooms, cover, and simmer until the broth is absorbed, then reduce the heat to low.
8. Add the sliced abalone and simmer over low heat for about 10 minutes.
9. Add the ginkgo nuts (20 pieces), cover, and simmer for another 5 minutes.
10. Add butter (5 g) and sprinkle chopped chives (10 g) on top.
