Feeling queasy? Comfort your stomach with this simple and delicious clear bean sprout soup.
Main Ingredients:
- Chives: 25g
- Bean Sprouts: 150g
- Red Pepper: 1
Soup Ingredients:
- Water: 6 cups (1200 ml)
- Anchovy Dashi Bag: 1
- Salt: 1 tsp
- Black Pepper: A pinch
- Minced Garlic: 1 tbsp
- Soy Sauce: 1 tsp
Bean Sprout Soup Recipe:
1. Pour 6 cups (1200ml) of water into a pot and bring to a boil for about 15 minutes.
2. Prepare the bean sprouts (150g) by removing the tails.
3. Slice the chives (25g) and red pepper.
4. Add the bean sprouts back into the soup, cover, and let it simmer for about 3 minutes.
5. Stir in the minced garlic, soy sauce, salt, chives, and red pepper. Let it simmer briefly.
6. Skim off any foam that forms on the surface.
7. Serve the clear bean sprout soup in a bowl and enjoy!
