A hearty and savory meal! Beef and shiraegi stew

Enjoy the savory combination of beef and shiraegi in this easy and satisfying stew!~

■ Main Ingredients for This Beef Stew Meal

Beef (neck/300g), cooked shiraegi (300g), green onion (30g), cheongyang pepper (3)

■ Seasoning Ingredients: 

Red pepper powder (2T), red pepper paste (1T), perilla oil (3T), anchovy fish sauce (1T), miso paste (3T), minced garlic (1T), perilla powder (4T), anchovy broth (3 cups/600ml)

■ Beef Stew Meal Cooking Procedure

1. In a bowl, mix miso paste (3T), red pepper paste (1T), red pepper powder (2T), minced garlic (1/2T), and perilla oil (3T) to make the seasoning.

2. Add cooked shiraegi (300g) and beef (neck/300g) to the seasoning and toss well. This will enhance the flavor and tenderness of the stew.

✔ You can use any lean cut of beef, such as the neck or the brisket.

✔ You can also substitute anchovies for beef for a different variation of the stew.

3. Heat a pot over high heat and stir-fry the seasoned shiraegi and beef for a few minutes.

4. Pour the anchovy broth (3 cups/600ml) over the mixture and bring to a boil. Then lower the heat and simmer for about 10 minutes, or until the beef is cooked through.

✔ If the stew looks too dry, you can add more broth as needed.

5. Cut the green onion (30g) and cheongyang pepper (3) into thin slices.

6. Add the green onion, cheongyang pepper, and anchovy fish sauce (1T) to the stew and cook for a few more minutes.

7. Sprinkle perilla powder (4T) over the stew and stir well.

8. Serve the shiraegi and beef stew meal in a bowl with rice and enjoy!
