KBS2's romantic drama "The Matchmakers," starring Rowoon and Cho Yi Hyun, continues to capture audiences with consistent viewership numbers.
The latest data from Nielsen Korea reveals that the 10th episode of "The Matchmakers" attracted a national viewership of 3.4%, marking a slight decrease of 0.7% from its 9th episode, which had a viewership of 4.1%.
What stood out in this episode was the heartfelt admissions by Sunwoo and Soon Duk, who openly shared their deep affection for their former partners. Their marriage came about naturally, without any coercion, which is a departure from the typical narrative that often forces such developments to ensure the main characters end up together.
In comparison, tvN's "A Bloody Lucky Day," with a star-studded cast including Lee Sung Min, Yoo Yeon Seok, and Lee Jung Eun, experienced a modest fall in ratings to 1.9% for its 5th episode, down from 2.% previously.
ENA's "Tell Me That You Love Me," starring the acclaimed Jung Woo Sung and Shin Hyun Been, held steady, garnering a 1.7% viewership for its 3rd episode, closely mirroring the 1.8% of its 2nd episode.
