[Feb 24 & 25] “Live Your Own Life” Episode 44 & 45: Rating & Recap
On the 44th episode, the truth surrounding another "birth secret" protagonist Tae-hee (Kim Biju) was revealed. Yeom Jeon-moo (Lee Kwang-ki), who suspected that he was her father, obtained the hair and had a DNA test, but the result was different from what he expected. Tae-hee told Jeon-moo the fact that “I am not your daughter”.

Jeon-moo was swept away by a tremendous shock. Believing that Tae-hee was his daughter, he was a black curtain handler who didn't refuse any evil deeds that Sook-hyang (Lee Hwi-hyang) ordered. He even accepted Sook-hyang’s order to go to prison instead of her without any resistance. He threw away the DNA test paper, crying out, “How can this happen when I did everything for you?” The ending of Jeon-moo, who glared at Sook-hyang as if to kill her, raised expectations for the next episode as to what the conclusion would be.

Meanwhile, Tae-min (Go Joo-won) secured a new clue to reveal the truth about the Daegwallyeong crash. Jin-beom, who confessed all his memories of the accident, followed his younger brother Jun-beom that day for a reason other than inferiority complex. He was blinded by the request to return his son Tae-min. After his brother and sister-in-law died in the crash, he learned that Jun-beom’s wife was terminally ill with cancer and that his brother wanted to meet Tae-min as a parent and child at least once. That was why Jin-beom had been suffering from a greater sense of guilt.

Tae-min firmly believed in Jin-beom’s story. He went to his grandmother Myung-hee (Jung Young-sook) and expressed that “my father isn't a liar”. He also vowed to find the real culprit with the black box copy from Myung-hee, and asked an image expert for analysis.

The screen was turned off, but when he listened to the sound, it seemed that there was a strong collision with a heavy vehicle like a dump truck before Jun-beom’s car rolled down the cliff. It meant that there was a real culprit. It was a moment when Tae-min, who was chasing after his "biological parents" crash, focused his attention on whether he could find Jin-beom.

On the other hand, Tae-ho (Ha-jun) finally found out that he was the grandson of the owner of Taesan Group. His daughter-in-law Hee-joo (Lim Ji-eun) asked Tae-ho to speak well to Seon-soon (Yoon Mi-ra) for the reinstatement of Hyo-seong (Nam Sung-jin), who was fired from the company. Surprised Seon-soon confirmed this with Hyo-seong. Hyo-seong confessed that he was opposed at first, but changed his mind when he saw Tae-ho liking and doing well with Hyo-sim. He also emphasized that Tae-ho was a good person and different from other chaebols.

Nevertheless, Seon-soon declared to Hyo-sim that “this marriage is postponed for the time being.” There was a mother’s sincerity that wished for her daughter’s happiness. Seon-soon, who was ignored by her in-laws for having nothing to learn compared to her husband who graduated from a famous law school, experienced that being loved by her husband and recognized by her in-laws was real happiness. So she hoped that her daughter Hyo-sim wouldn't go the same way as herself, and opposed the marriage with Tae-ho, a ‘chaebol’ with a difference in family.

That day, too, Tae-ho called Seon-soon and nagged, “I’m in a hurry, please meet me.” He aroused both expectations and curiosity as to how he would change Seon-soon’s mind to make his marriage with Hyo-sim happen.

Episode 45

Ha-joon and Go Joo-won, brothers who found out the real culprit of the Daegwallyeong accident that killed their biological parents, were shocked.

[Feb 24 & 25] “Live Your Own Life” Episode 44 & 45: Rating & Recap

In the 45th episode, Tae-min finally revealed the truth about the Daegwallyeong crash. The ones who provided the decisive clues to Tae-min were Tae-hee and Hyo-seong.

First, Tae-hee tearfully confessed to Tae-min the facts that she had hidden until then. On the night when Jin-beom chased after his younger brother and sister-in-law, Tae-hee overheard the phone conversation between her mother Sook-hyang and Jeon-moo. Sook-hyang ordered, “Do it properly or take care of it instead. This is an important opportunity.” Tae-hee, who didn’t know what that conversation meant at the time, trembled with fear that "the parents are murderers" when Joon-beom and his wife died.

Hyo-seong, who received Tae-min’s call, was asked to investigate Jeon-moo and secured decisive testimony after going to the audit of the Wonju spinning factory. He immediately reported to Tae-min that he confirmed that Jeon-moo rented a cargo truck that night. Tae-min, who had confirmed through the black box video analysis the day before the accident that Joon-beom’s car had a strong collision with a heavy vehicle like a dump truck before rolling off the cliff, finally put all the puzzles together.

The truth of that day decorated the ending. Joon-beom collided with a dump truck that rushed in as soon as he avoided Jin-beom’s car. Joon-beom’s car fell off the cliff and was engulfed in flames. And the one who got off the dump truck and watched this scene was none other than Jeon-moo, who received Sook-hyang’s instructions.

Jeon-moo gave a bitter warning to Sook-hyang, who had deceived him as if Tae-hee was his daughter and used him. “The innocence of a poor and worthless man is more scary. If you don’t tell me honestly, I’ll say I was coerced into making a false confession,” he threatened. Jeon-moo turned his back on Sook-hyang with a tremendous sense of betrayal.

Meanwhile, Tae-ho went to see Sun-soon, who opposed the marriage. He stretched out his cod and said, “I’ll eat this and wait, mother,” approaching her with his unique cheekiness. But his feelings for Hyo-sim (played by Yoo Yi) were serious. He revealed his sincerity, saying, “I decided to live a life of not talking back to Hyo-sim, not talking back, and pretending to die if she tells me to die.” He also pointed out that he was a salaried worker at Tae-san and that he grew up frugally because of his grandparents’ strict education.

Hyo-seong showed a subtle sign that he knew something about his father Choo-ryeon (played by Nam Kyung-eup), arousing curiosity. Hyo-seong persuaded Hyo-sim, saying, “Let’s not look for our father.” He said that if the situation wasn't good, or if his father hadn't lived alone all his life, it would be a bigger wound. But Hyo-seong, who had visited the piano academy where Choo-ryeon had stayed with Hyo-sim the day before, saw a picture of a woman there. Her face turned pale.
