[Feb 5] "Marry My Husband" Ep 11, “Love Song for Illusion” Ep 10: Ratings & Recap

Nielsen Korea reported that the show scored an impressive 11.8% nationwide, beating its own previous record of 10.7%. Let's congratulate the team behind “Marry My Husband” for their success!

Did Ji-Hyeok give Ji-Won what she needed?

Ji-won and Ji-Hyeok had a passionate relationship, but Ji-Hyeok knew that his life was short and wanted to distance himself from her. He thought that Ji-won deserved someone who could offer her stability and security, something that he couldn't provide for long.

When Ji-Hyeok fell ill, Ji-won nursed him back to health. As he recovered, he advised her to find a stable partner and not feel like she was on a shaky boat. Ji-won sensed that Ji-Hyeok loved her deeply, despite his words. She assured him that even if there was regret, let's regret it together.

Later, they were seen enjoying their intimacy and each other’s presence. Ji-Hyeok invited Ji-won on a date. They had a wonderful time together. Ji-Hyeok’s grandfather had asked Mr. Lee to monitor him. When he saw the photos of them on a date, he realized that he hadn't seen Ji-Hyeok so joyful in a long time. Mr. Lee remarked that Ji-Hyeok had changed, as he was living his life to the fullest. Meanwhile, Min-hwan tried to talk to Ji-won at the office, but she ignored him completely.

How did Mr. Kim handle his demotion?

Mr. Kim couldn't accept the fact that he had lost his position as a manager. He tried to belittle Ms. Yang for her work and told her that she was incompetent as a manager. He often occupied her chair and told her that it was his rightful place and that he was more suitable for that role.

Hee-yeon and Ji-won told Ms. Yang that she needed to take some action against Mr. Kim for his misconduct in the office. Later, when Mr. Kim attempted to dominate Ms. Yang, she confronted him and told him to do his job properly, asserting her authority over him.

Mr. Kim was stunned and disappointed by the unexpected behavior of Ms. Yang. Min-hwan approached him and told him not to stress over office politics. He wanted to befriend Mr. Kim, as he had no one else in the office to chat with.

How did Min-Hwan’s mother react after meeting Su-Min?

When Min-hwan brought Su-Min to meet his mother, she found out that he had lied to his mother about her. Min-hwan had told his mother that she had graduated from Hankuk University and would work after having a baby.

Min-hwan’s mother liked Su-Min, as she thought that she was better than Ji-won and was also going to give birth to a successor. Later, Min-hwan’s mother took them to look for a house to rent. Min-hwan was surprised, as he had hoped that she would buy him a new house when he got married. When he asked his mother about it, she said that after 2 years of their marriage, she would consider buying them a new house.

Min-hwan’s mother was bossy enough to choose the wedding dress and makeup for Su-Min. She had also picked their wedding cards, which Su-Min hated. When she tried to complain about it to Min-hwan, he ignored her.

Later, when Su-Min sent the invite to Ji-won, trying to make her envious, Ji-won forwarded it to Ji-Hyeok. He then made sure that everyone in the office knew about Min-hwan’s wedding. When Min-hwan found out about it, he was angry, as he didn't want anyone to know about it.

Min-hwan went home and yelled at Su-Min, as he realized that she must have been the one who leaked their wedding news. Later, Min-hwan’s mother told Su-Min that all men are babies, and she would have to learn to cope with it!

How did Ms. Yang end up with Ji-Won’s destiny?

Ms. Yang’s life seemed to mirror Ji-won’s past life in many ways. She had a useless husband who did nothing but stay at home. This was just like Ji-won, who had supported Min-hwan when he was unemployed in her past life.

Ms. Yang’s husband finally got a job at her father’s restaurant after being scolded for his laziness. However, at the office party that was held there, Mr. Lee discovered that Ms. Yang’s husband was cheating on her with another woman. This was also a repeat of Ji-won’s past life, where Min-hwan had an affair with Su-Min.

To make matters worse, Ms. Yang found out that she had stomach cancer, the same illness that Ji-won had suffered from in her past life. It seemed that Ji-won had transferred her entire destiny to Ms. Yang. This meant that Ms. Yang might also face the same fate as Ji-won, who was killed by her husband for her money in her past life.

What happened on the wedding day?

Su-Min had an actor pretend to be her mother on the wedding day. Ji-won and Ji-Hyeok showed up at the wedding and handed Min-hwan some papers that accused him of borrowing money from various sources. Ji-won also met Su-Min and expressed her gratitude for taking out her garbage. She gave her the expensive bag that Min-hwan had given her as a gift. This was a way of giving Su-Min her leftovers as a form of revenge for what she had done to her in the previous life! Su-Min, however, believed that she had won the war.

Ji-won had a gleam in her eyes as Su-Min married Min-hwan. She felt that her revenge plan was finally complete! Later, Eun-ho arrived at the wedding and told Ji-won that their other school friends were also on their way to the wedding. He said that they had realized that Su-Min had always lied to them and turned them against Ji-won and, therefore, wanted to get back at her. The school friends came and publicly humiliated Su-Min for stealing Ji-won’s man and caused a commotion at the wedding. After all, the wedding ceremony went on, sealing Su-Min’s doom!

What will happen next?

Ji-won will have to deal with more troubles later, which will be shown in the next episode of "Marry My Husband." Just when she thought that she had eliminated the only obstacle in her way, Ji-Hyeok’s ex-fiancee appeared out of the blue! She will probably be a troublesome character that Ji-won and Ji-Hyeok will struggle to handle. The fiancee might seek Min-hwan’s help to win Ji-Hyeok back.

The next episode will be distressing for Ji-won, as she will learn that she has accidentally given her destiny to Ms. Yang. Su-Min will also find out the truth about how Ji-won gave her her problems. Su-Min will likely try to take revenge on Ji-won after learning the truth.

Ak-Hee has given up on his love for Kyera, who chose the King over him, and wants her to be happy.

The King faces Sajo Yung after he accuses innocent villagers of trafficking women and punishes them. Sajo Hyeong intervenes and asks, “You're well aware of who was behind the trafficking of our women, aren’t you, Grand Prince [Sajo Yung]?” Hwang Hee’s character pretends to be innocent and provokes Sajo Hyeong by bringing up the late King’s secrets.
