Tae-oh gets out of jail and...
The episodes are about saving Tae-oh, while In-ha keeps doing bad things and acting wildly to get ahead at work. They also show a showdown between In-ha and Tae-oh when In-ha finds out his enemy is hidden by his own dad (Chairman Kang).
In episode 10, things get really tense when In-ha and Chairman Kang have a big fight. The chairman gets so upset that he has a heart attack and falls in the bathtub. In Ha is there but doesn’t help him because he feels hurt after the chairman kicked him out of the family. Fortunately, Hee-joo rescues him just in time. They rush the chairman to the hospital because he’s in really bad shape.
Meanwhile, Tae-oh goes to see Prosecutor Ha and remembers seeing a phone where a crime happened. They look more into it and find a video that shows Tae-oh didn’t kill In-ju and Bona. It looks like Gi-jun and maybe In-ha did it. But Tae-oh keeps quiet about In-ha possibly being involved.
Later, Gi-jun gets caught and admits to the crimes, so Tae-oh gets out of jail. His plan is working, and with a company called Gold H Investment, they get a lot of shares in Kang Oh, which worries In-ha and the rest of the Kang family. In all the mess, In-ha thinks about killing Chairman Kang, but Tae-oh stops him.
Review
The police found a phone left open under a table at the crime scene and didn’t check it, which is a basic thing to do? The killer didn’t notice a phone that was recording? And it’s hard to believe that the big boss of a company had no security in the hospital, allowing In-ha to just walk in and try to hurt him.
Besides, I’m puzzled why the chairman still trusts Tae-oh, even though he knows Tae-oh planned it all. It seems like the only way to stop In-ha, but there must be other ways than saving Tae-oh. Maybe the chairman knows something we don’t :))
What's more? I’m not sure why both main characters got involved with In-ha. Tae-oh is smart enough to be a top player, as Chairman Kang values his intelligence and plans. I get that Hye-won married In-ha to rise in the company, but if she and Tae-oh teamed up, they could have achieved similar success.
The side characters aren’t well-developed. They seem to have one role and do the same things.
THAT SAID, "The Impossible Heir" is still watchable. The battles between the main characters are enjoyable. We might not see more growth in the characters, and Tae-oh might keep being lucky. But if the show stays lively and avoids dull love stories, it could still be entertaining.
I’m eager to see how they end the story. What role does Tae-oh’s mom play? Will Tae-oh turn out to be an unexpected heir, like an illegitimate son? What will happen to In-ha? Let’s see what happens next week.
And here's the preview of episodes 11-12!
