The 2023 Asian Academy Creative Awards (AACA) revealed its winners on December 7 (local time) in Singapore.
“The Glory” was honored with the award for Best Drama Series and its lead actress Lim Ji Yeon received the award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role.
Netflix’s “The Glory” is written by popular writer Kim Eun Sook and follows the story of a former target of vicious school violence who vows to get back at her tormentors after becoming the elementary school teacher of her bully’s child. Song Hye Kyo portrays the revengeful protagonist Moon Dong Eun, while Lim Ji Yeon acts as Moon Dong Eun’s main tormentor Park Yeon Jin.
In addition, “Physical: 100” won the award for Best Non-Scripted Entertainment.
“Physical: 100” is a survival show where 100 participants with excellent physical fitness compete in various tasks until only one is left to claim the prize money and the title as the one with the best physique and the most stamina. It was announced earlier in June this year that “Physical: 100” will have a second season.
