“My Happy Ending” Ep. 3 Recap: Jang Nara’s Husband Exists at Home & at Work at the Same Time

TV CHOSUN 'My Happy Ending' Jang Nara showed a 'bad pounding ending' that fell into chaos due to her husband Son Ho-jun who existed simultaneously at home and at work.

On the 6th (Sat) broadcast of TV CHOSUN's weekend mini-series 'My Happy Ending' (script by Baek Sun-hee/directed by Jo Soo-won/produced by Story Vine Pictures, High Ground, IEN Culture), Seo Jae-won (Jang Nara) was unable to shake off her distrust and doubt about her husband Heo Soon-young (Son Ho-jun) and unexpected shocking facts burst out everywhere, making drama highly focused. The 3rd episode recorded its own highest ratings of the metropolitan area ratings and 3.4% of the highest minute ratings based on Nielsen Korea.

First, Seo Jae-won imagined Heo Soon-young, Kwon Yoon-jin (So Yi-hyun), and daughter Heo Ah-rin (Choi So-yul) having fun together and gritted her teeth with extreme betrayal, and couldn't even walk properly and sat down crying. Then, Seo Jae-won confided to her friend and psychiatrist Jo Soo-kyung (Lim Sun-woo) that "I thought I knew everything about him" and expressed her will for revenge by saying "I want to trample on him. I want to kill them both."

Jae-won, who returned home, talked to Heo Soon-young about her friend's husband's affair and tried to probe his mind, but when Soon-young hesitated to answer, she said, "This is something that should never happen to our family." and flashed a cold look. 

Later, Seo Jae-won heard from her daughter Heo Ah-rin that she couldn't meet her dad's friend and wondered, but eventually, she couldn't get rid of her suspicion about her husband and installed a home camera in the living room. 

And Seo Jae-won went to find Kwon Yoon-jin, who was working on the mural of <Drev>, and expressed her anger by trampling on her pride. Kwon Yoon-jin, who was angry, said, "Do you think you came here because you are good? You are enjoying the reality while shaking off all kinds of hypocrisy. You keep me by your side and show off your success." Jae-won spat out a harsh sarcasm, saying, "Shut up. Don't act pitiful."

Also, Jae-won, who couldn't solve the question about her mother who died after drinking pesticide, asked her stepfather Seo Chang-seok (Kim Hong-pa) the truth about the insurance money. But Seo Chang-seok said that his mother Jung Mi-hyang (Kang Ji-eun), who was crazy about gambling, drank pesticides and went to the hospital several times if he didn't give her money. And especially the person who told her that she could get the insurance money was Heo Soon-young, which made Jae-won miserable. But after Jae-won left, Seo Chang-seok's past, who looked coldly at Jung Mi-hyang, who desperately reached out for his hand after pesticide poisoning, was recalled and reversed.

At the same time, Yoon Tae-o (Lee Ki-taek) tracked down the stalker who attacked Seo Jae-won and found out that Baek Seung-kyu (Oh Hyun-joong) of <Drev> design team was the culprit. And when he heard that Baek Seung-kyu went to Wonju where Seo Jae-won met her stepfather, he sensed the danger and drove to Wonju. 

Then, Jae-won, who was heading home, was in a crisis when the car didn't stop due to a sudden brake failure, and Yoon Tae-o's car blocked the way and saved her life. Jae-won, who was trembling with fear of death, asked Tae-o, "How did you know and come?" with suspicion, but Yoon Tae-o said, "I'll tell you when it's clear later." and made Seo Jae-won wonder. Jae-won said, "I can't trust anyone now. Not even myself." and greeted Tae-o and went home and said, "I don't know anymore. How can I endure this day?" She burst into tears with her suppressed emotions.

After that, Jae-won received a text message saying "Do you remember, that day 7 years ago?" and a photo taken at the event hall 7 years ago. She and was engulfed in intense fear, and went to the studio and took out the medicine from the headache medicine bottle. But she threw away the medicine without taking it, thinking of the incidents related to Soon-young, Yoon-jin, Tae-o, and Chang-seok. 

Eventually, Jae-won showed a very anxious and serious symptom at the new product press conference the next day, and when Tae-o blocked her, she shouted, "Why are you making me so hard?" But when Yoon Tae-o asked bluntly if she had taken the headache medicine, she was surprised. Jae-won, who went to see Jo Soo-kyung, said, "I don't like being dependent on the medicine, and I've experienced addiction and side effects." and then said, "Tae-o seems to know. That I have bipolar disorder." 

Above all, at the end, Jae-won felt a worse vibe from her husband. The neighborhood resident said that Soon-young, who had always been lively, didn't even greet her, and even drove a different car.

Then, when Jae-won watched Soon-young and Ah-rin having fun on the home camera she installed at home, Heo Soon-young appeared saying "Honey" and startled Jae-won. Jae-won, who looked at Soon-young on the home camera and her husband Soon-young in front of her at the same time, ran out like crazy in the 'chaotic pounding ending' and made the next episode look forward to.

On the other hand, on this day's broadcast, unpredictable shocking secrets burst out one after another, making the conversation chilly. Kwon Yoon-jin and Yoon Tae-o had a friendship from attending college together in the United States. And Yoon-jin amplified the doubt by saying to Tae-o, who criticized her meeting with Soon-young, "The person I'm dating, not Jae-won's husband." 

Also, Nam Tae-ju (Park Ho-san) greeted Kwon Yoon-jin's father Kwon Young-ik (Kim Myung-soo) by saying "It's been a long time, Chairman." and revealed that they knew each other. Especially, Baek Seung-kyu, who was revealed to be Jae-won's stalker, fell from the rooftop of his apartment building. And Tae-o answered Soon-young's phone call to Seung-kyu's phone, who was undergoing surgery at the hospital, and maximized the mystery.

'My Happy Ending' episode 4 will air at 9:10 pm tonight.~
