[Mar 25] “Wedding Impossible” Ep 9: Rating, Recap, Review

The 9th episode of “Wedding Impossible” on tvN got a 3.1% viewership nationwide, which is a slight drop from the 3.4% of its previous episode.

“Wedding Impossible” episode 9: Recap & review

Episode 9 showed Ah Jung and Ji Han’s day filled with love, which sadly ended in a misunderstanding. The episode continued from the cliffhanger of episode 8, focusing on the couple’s lovely day together in the first part.

Ji Han and Ah Jung felt awkward after sharing a kiss, but Ji Han tried to ease the tension. He took her to a village for a day, where they created happy memories and concentrated on their bond. Parting ways after a full day together was hard for them.

Meanwhile, Seung Ah was quietly enjoying her win over her stepbrothers. Thanks to reporter Kang Ik Jun, she got some leverage against the Lee family. She had photos of Ji Han and Ah Jung together, which she kept secret. Ji Han wanted to update his brother Do Han, but Do Han wasn’t ready to talk, so they planned to meet later. This worked out well for Seung Ah.

Seung Ah showed Do Han the photos of Ji Han and Ah Jung when she visited him in his studio. Shocked to see his brother with his best friend, Do Han quickly reached out to Ah Jung. Wanting to be honest, Ah Jung met with Do Han to talk about her relationship with his brother, not knowing he already knew.

Ji Han walked into the studio while Do Han and Ah Jung were arguing about their fake marriage. He heard them talking about it. The end of episode 9 hinted at tough times ahead for the couple. Will they end their relationship in episode 10? No way :)

Review

I’m not convinced by Ji Han’s sudden change. Why would he say he’d leave everything for Ah Jung? Wasn’t he always after his grandpa’s company and approval? "Wedding Impossible"’s humor seems to be slipping as Ji Han gets serious with Ah Jung, especially after Do Han’s secret comes out. 

The next episode looks like it’ll be chaotic :)) Ji Han overheard everything by just walking in. He may be distant with Ah Jung in the next episode. He might feel tricked because he was the only one who didn’t know Do Han was gay from the start.
