I met my first love again.

In the 7th episode, the revelation that Park Dora’s (Im Soo-hyang) first love, Daechung, is actually the drama PD Ko Pil-seung (Ji Hyun-woo), brought cheers from the viewers.

In this episode, Pil-seung found himself in a difficult situation when he was caught bad-mouthing Dora to Cha Bong-soo (Kang Sung-min) on the spot. Pil-seung desperately tried to explain himself to Dora when he met her on the set, but Dora coldly turned her back on him without even considering his words. As Dora’s heart didn't easily soften, Pil-seung revealed his gloomy feelings. And an accidental sighting of Pil-seung being harassed by Go Myung-dong (Lee Young-eun) hinted at another incident.

Later, Pil-seung returned to the set with Dora’s favorite foods packed to appease her anger but was flustered upon seeing the extraordinary scale of the meal truck sent by Gong Jin-dan (Go Yoon). Jin-dan, who appeared on the set, earnestly helped Dora in every way to capture her heart. Watching Dora and Jin-dan grow closer, Pil-seung felt a bittersweet emotion from afar.

Amidst the warm atmosphere, Jin-dan boasted about a tie that Baek Mi-ja (Cha Hwa-yeon) had delivered to him, claiming it was a gift personally chosen by Dora. However, Dora knew nothing about it. He felt dejected when it seemed like she had no interest in him. Jin-dan soon composed himself and asked Mi-ja for help, saying, “Please help me and Ms. Dora get along well,” which led to a curious deal between them, adding to the fun for us.

Meanwhile, Myung-dong scolded Pil-seung harshly at home when she saw that Pil-seung was disheartened because of Dora. Yet, the situation escalated when other family members, including mother Kim Sun-young (Yoon Yu-sun), overheard their conversation. 

Upon learning that Pil-seung and Dora were working together, Sun-young sincerely advised, “If Park Dora keeps harassing you, then tell her who you are. She won’t be able to do anything to you once she knows you’re Ko Daechung.”

Unable to sleep due to his guilt towards Dora, Pil-seung went to Dora’s house to apologize but was engulfed in complex emotions upon seeing Jin-dan supporting a drunken Dora. To make matters worse, he heard rumors on the set that Jin-dan was a playboy, which made him even more concerned about Dora.

In the end, Pil-seung went to Dora to offer advice about Jin-dan, but Dora expressed her deep disappointment that had accumulated over time towards Pil-seung, yelling at him to never appear before her again, which heightened the tension. Consequently, Pil-seung faced a major crisis in his assistant director career and, after much contemplation, decided to reveal to Dora that he was her past Daechung.

At the end of episode 7, Pil-seung reappeared before Dora and confessed, “Dora, please save me just this once. Can’t you look at me just once for old times’ sake? I am Daechung, Daechung.” Dora was unable to hide her surprise at Pil-seung’s words, and the ending with Pil-seung confessing that he is "Ko Daechung" left the viewers speechless, eagerly anticipating the next episode.
