Jung-won gets a call from her husband to attend an event. She acts like all is well and leaves the clinic. In her car, she remembers Woo-jae suggested this clinic. She calls the nurse, Ms. Choi, and agrees to have lunch with her.
Tae-heon and Myung-soo are checking their suspect list when Kim Min-chul comes to the station. He was working when Eun-sae died. Tae-heon asks him about it.
Jung-won has drinks with Ms. Choi, who talks a lot. She mentions Eun-sae was also Yoon-young’s patient and that the doctor records all sessions, which surprises Jung-won.
Yoon-young watches a video from Jung-won’s session. Woo-jae comes, and she tells him about the bugs Jung-won left. They’re in Woo-jae’s old apartment, which Yoon-young now rents. She tells him Jung-won knows he visited Eun-sae on the day he died.
She also mentions Jung-won had blood on her sleeve during a session. Woo-jae is upset and regrets asking her for help. He’s worried about the bugs Jung-won left.
The next morning, Ms. Choi wakes up in a hotel with Jung-won, who wants her help to get Eun-sae’s session tapes. At work, Jung-won hears gossip about her husband’s trouble, started by Noh Jin-ho. She confronts her coworkers.
Jung-won searches Woo-jae’s old room at his family’s house and finds an old photo of Woo-jae and Yoon-young. She calls Yoon-young.
At the station, Tae-heon figures out Eun-sae and her brother were born in the same city where Woo-jae and Min-chul went to school. Mo Hyung-taek worked there too. All suspects, except Jung-won, have ties to this city.
Noh Ji-ho questions Tae-heon about Jung-won, but he won’t talk about the case. Tae-heon visits Cha Jin-woo’s grave later.
A flashback shows Tae-heon finding cash in his partner’s car. He gets a call about the partner’s location, but the partner falls from a building. Jin-woo warns Tae-heon that Jung-won is tricking him. He dies, and Jung-won arrives. Tae-heon accuses her of using him for her show.
In the present, Tae-heon and Jung-won meet at Jin-woo’s grave. They talk, and Tae-heon plays baseball with an old friend.
Jung-won returns home and Woo-jae asks if she killed Eun-sae. He wants to protect her. They both suspect each other now.
On the day of the charity event, the detectives are there. Yoon-young shows up unexpectedly, invited by Jung-won. She and Woo-jae act like they’re meeting for the first time.
Jung-won gets a message from Choi, who has saved videos of Eun-sae’s therapy sessions. This is why Jung-won asked Yoon-young to meet.
On stage, Woo-jae and Jung-won answer questions from reporters. Noh Jin-ho causes trouble by bringing up Eun-sae. Jung-won boldly says she’ll talk about the investigation on her show, hinting at Geum-sae’s attack on the actress. Geum-sae, also there because of Jung-won, gets angry and leaves.
Later, Jung-won notices Tae-heon following Woo-jae. She tells Tae-heon to speak with her first. Noh has been watching Jung-won, so Tae-heon hides with her in a storage room and asks why she’s sticking up for Woo-jae.
Noh finds Woo-jae and teases him about Jung-won. Woo-jae ignores him and learns a detective is in the storage room. When Jung-won and Tae-heon come out, Woo-jae sees them. He asks Tae-heon to meet on the roof.
There, Tae-heon asks Woo-jae about the woman in the red coat and their shared past in Mueon. Woo-jae doesn’t want to talk, which makes Tae-heon suspicious. They almost fight, but Jung-won stops them.
It turns out Jung-won was listening the whole time. At home, Woo-jae gives her a USB with evidence of Eun-sae’s attack. Jung-won also gets the therapy session videos from Choi.
The detectives discover that Jin Myung-sook’s late husband was linked to a fire at a chemical plant. She had approached Mo’s family on purpose. Tae-heon notes that Myung-sook is also connected to Mueon.
In the therapy videos, Eun-sae talks about Yoon-young and Woo-jae being at the same high school. She wonders if Yoon-young knows someone named Na-ri, a name she heard Woo-jae say once.
Jung-won looks again at the high school photo of Woo-jae. She travels to Mueon, but someone follows her. She confronts the person, but it’s just Tae-heon.
Overall, episode 5 of “Nothing Uncovered” looks into Yoo Yoon-young’s past with Woo-jae, going back to their high school days. Han Chae-ah plays the therapist very well, changing from a caring doctor to a sneaky one.
Woo-jae remains mysterious, and his words don’t give away his true intentions. Tae-heon’s acting is a bit stiff. The story is getting exciting as it connects to Mueon. It’s a bit slow, but I’m looking forward to what happens next.

Episode 6
In the 6th episode, the story depicted Tae-heon and Jung-won heading to Mueon City to deeply investigate the affair of Woo-jae.
Jung-won went to Mueon High School, which her husband Woo-jae had attended, to dig deeper into his affair. At the same time, Tae-heon also headed to Mueon City. It was to further investigate the death of Eun-sae.
Jung-won learned at Mueon High School that Na-ri had died at the scene of the Bongto Chemical Plant fire.
Woo-jae, who obtained Jung-won’s necklace from the murder scene, began investigating Detective Tae-heon. Meanwhile, Tae-heon learned that Yoo Yoon-young was an acquaintance of Woo-jae. He was getting closer to the truth of the case.
Tae-heon and Jung-won encountered each other. He confronted her, “I have no choice but to keep suspecting you. It seems like you lied. You entered the scene on the day Cha Eun-sae died, didn’t you?” Jung-won turned away, saying, “Believe what you want to believe.” She resented Tae-heon for not having trusted her in the past.
In the past, Tae-heon mistakenly thought that Jung-won approached him to investigate Detective Cha. When Tae-heon pressed her, asking if she really approached him for investigation and why she couldn’t say no, Jung-won replied, “Is that all the trust you have in me? It’s easier for you to blame everything on me.”
Tae-heon expressed his complicated feelings to Jung-won, “Seeing your face struggling to death annoys me. It upsets me. Meeting you again makes me angry and sad.”
Taking advantage of Woo-jae being alone at home, Yoon-young visited him. Woo-jae confronted her, “Are you crazy, doing it this way?” When Woo-jae tried to persuade her, saying, “You’re a good friend to me,” Yoon-young created a chilling atmosphere by saying, “To me, you’re someone I want to kill. You can kill someone you love enough to die. That’s why I killed Cha Eun-sae.” Woo-jae reached a breaking point, warning that he wouldn’t stay still if she touched Jung-won. However, Yoon-young, without blinking an eye, handed propofol to Woo-jae.
The next day, someone followed Tae-heon and Jung-won as they were traveling together in a car. Noticing this, Tae-heon made a sudden stop to see the person in the pursuing car, but the car fled.
Returning home, Jung-won treated Woo-jae coldly. Frustrated by her unyielding response, Woo-jae said, “Is this what you call giving a chance?” and “I know there’s a tracker on my car. Still, give me a chance.” Jung-won replied, “I regret giving you a chance. Whatever you do, it annoys me and I hate it.” Woo-jae knelt before Jung-won and begged, “I miss you so much, I wondered why, and then I realized I couldn’t remember your smiling face. I’ll try harder and make more effort. I’ll never give up on you.”
Woo-jae, through his investigation, found out that Tae-heon had gone on a business trip to Mueon at the same time as Jung-won and had returned. While Jung-won was sleeping on the desk, Woo-jae searched her bag and found a receipt used in Mueon City. He called his father Seol Pan-ho and vented, “Shouldn’t you find out what Jung-won did in Mueon?”
In fact, Jung-won had woken up when Woo-jae came in and knew he was searching her bag. She told him, “I went to Mueon City on a business trip yesterday. I declared I would catch the murderer of Cha Eun-sae. I went there to cover the story and got quite a lot of information.” Then she said, “It was cowardly and despicable. I won’t do it again,” and returned the tracker.
Someone tipped off that Tae-heon had taken a bribe, and his office was searched. Learning the timing of the tip-off that he had taken a bribe, Tae-heon shed tears realizing that Jung-won had not been playing him all along.
Pan-ho arranged a meal with Woo-jae and Jung-won. He chided Woo-jae, saying, “You get angry at your father so easily, but you can’t say anything to your wife. You were so worried that your wife went to Mueon. You were worried she might have left pretending to be on a business trip.”
At the end of episode 6, Tae-heon went to see Yoo Yoon-young, and the two faced each other.
