Kim Soo-hyun and Kim Ji-won confirmed their feelings for each other through tearful confessions.
The 11th episode featured Baek Hyun-woo (Kim Soo-hyun) and Hong Hae-in (Kim Ji-won) overcoming a crisis together, which helped restore the warmth in their marriage. After the revelation of Hae-in’s illness, the bond among family members strengthened, warming our hearts. During a press conference announcing her return as the representative of Queens Department Store, Hae-in revealed everything from being threatened by Yoon Eun-seong to receiving a terminal diagnosis. Her condition rapidly deteriorated, and she eventually collapsed. Hearing the news on TV, her family rushed to the hospital, and Hyun-woo stayed by the critically ill Hae-in’s side throughout the night.
Regaining consciousness, Hae-in opened up to her family, including her mother Kim Sun-hwa (Na Young-hee), with whom she had been constantly fighting. She touched everyone’s hearts, especially her husband Hyun-woo, to whom she calmly confessed her true feelings, saying, “I love you. I have loved you since the first time I saw you.”
As Hae-in began to prepare for her farewell, Hyun-woo, holding her in his arms, tearfully vowed, “You won’t die, I’ll never let you go.” With the knowledge of Hae-in’s illness, the Yongsuri and Queens families focused on her recovery, and the distance between family members noticeably closed. The affectionate moments spent with family and loved ones brought happiness to Hyun-woo and Hae-in.
As the family’s bond grew stronger, they began preparations to push back against their common enemies, Yoon Eun-seong (Park Sung-hoon) and Mosul-hee (Lee Mi-sook). Thanks to Hae-in’s exposure of Eun-seong’s threats at the press conference, the stock price of Queens Group plummeted. Hyun-woo, realizing that the cornered Eun-seong and Mosul-hee had failed to find Hong Man-dae’s (Kim Gap-soo) slush fund, decided to intercept it with Hae-in.
With the help of Grace Go (Kim Joo-ryeong), Hyun-woo and Hae-in successfully tracked the warehouse that was the route for Chairman Man-dae’s slush fund. Caught in a sudden downpour, they took shelter under the roof of a building.
Waiting for Hyun-woo, who had left to get the car, a tired Hae-in naturally leaned on him when he returned with an umbrella instead of a car. As soon as she got into the car, she fell asleep, only to be awakened by an unknown vehicle pursuing them, shattering the silence.
Given that a suspicious car had been following Hyun-woo just days before, Hae-in was terrified, and the tension escalated as the chase ended with the 2 vehicles facing each other. To make matters worse, Hyun-woo got out of a different car, increasing Hae-in’s confusion. Mistaking Eun-seong for Hyun-woo due to her illness, the anxious look in Hae-in’s eyes heightened the suspense, leaving us wondering how the relationship between the 3 will unfold.
