Lee Jong Suk & Go Min Si Star in New Romance Drama By “Descendants of the Sun” Director?

Lee Jong Suk might be joining Go Min Si in a new romance drama by director Lee Eung Bok!

On November 21, Lee Jong Suk’s agency revealed that the actor has been offered the role of the male lead in the upcoming drama “My Relationship That I Also Oppose” (working title) and is considering it positively.

“My Relationship That I Also Oppose” is a highly anticipated romance drama by Lee Eung Bok, the director behind hit dramas such as “Descendants of the Sun,” “Goblin”, “Mr. Sunshine,” “Sweet Home,” and “Jirisan.” The screenplay is written by Kim Eun, who also wrote “Something in the Rain.”

The drama explores the question of whether getting back together with an ex is a continuation of an old relationship or the beginning of a new one. With its focus on the theme of rekindling first loves, the drama is expected to resonate with viewers.

Previously, in September, it was reported that Go Min Si and Choi Hyun Wook were in talks for the drama. However, in October, Choi Hyun Wook’s agency announced that he had to decline the offer due to scheduling issues.

Lee Jong Suk is currently in discussions to play the role of Kim Tae Kyung, the male lead who is instinctive, realistic, and righteous. Shining in "Youth of May," Go Min Si is in negotiations to play the role of Hong Je Bi, the female lead. Notably, Go Min Si has already worked with director Lee Eung Bok in the dramas “Sweet Home” and “Jirisan.”
