The new blockbuster “Noryang: Deadly Sea” has made a strong impression on the audience!
The film is the last part of director Kim Han Min’s epic trilogy that depicts the wars fought by the legendary general Lee Soon Shin, preceded by the successful films “The Admiral: Roaring Currents” and “Hansan: Rising Dragon.”
The historical action film has been the undisputed No. 1 at the Korean box office since its release on December 20.
The Korean Film Council reported on December 24 that “Noryang: Deadly Sea” had officially surpassed 1 million viewers as of the previous day (December 23)—which means it achieved this feat in only four days.
