Jeon Do Yeon is being considered for the main role in the upcoming mystery thriller drama “The Price of Confession” (working title), which lost its previous leads Song Hye Kyo and Han So Hee.
According to STARNEWS on December 20, Jeon Do Yeon has been offered the lead role in the drama and is currently reviewing it. Her agency Management SOOP confirmed, “She is looking over the offer [to star in the drama].”
“The Price of Confession” is a drama that follows the bloody story of two women involved in a murder case. The drama was initially planned to be directed by Lee Eung Bok, who directed “Descendants of the Sun.” However, he withdrew from the project in January due to schedule issues.
Song Hye Kyo and Han So Hee were the first choices for the lead roles in the drama. They even posted a photo of themselves together with the caption “The Price of Confession” on their Instagram Stories in March 2023, raising anticipation for their collaboration.
However, in May, it was announced that both actresses had left the project after thorough discussions, and the production was put on hold. The drama has now found a new director in Lee Jung Hyo, who directed “Crash Landing on You” and “Doona!”
