The 5th episode of “Wedding Impossible” on tvN got a viewership of 3.7%. That’s a slight drop from the 4.0% rating of its last episode.

“Wedding Impossible” episode 5: Recap & review

The 5th episode picked up from a cliffhanger where Lee Ji-Han, played by Moon Sang-Min, was very drunk and leaned on Na A-Jeong, played by Jeon Jong-Seo. In this episode, Na A-Jeong ends up taking Lee Ji-Han home with her.

Lee Do-Han, played by Kim Do-Wan, discovers that Ji-Han spent the night at A-Jeong’s house. The episode also shows A-Jeong going to a close family gathering for Ji-Han and Do-Han. It’s obvious that A-Jeong and Ji-Han are starting to like each other more.

The episode starts with Do-Han meeting a man at his home, suggesting they know each other and have some issues to sort out. It then goes back to the end of the last episode, where a tipsy Ji-Han tries to carry A-Jeong but ends up falling.

Ji-Han can’t remember his home’s passcode, so A-Jeong has to take him to her place. When he wakes up, he remembers some of what happened but not all.

A-Jeong had recorded the night’s events, knowing he’d forget. Ji-Han is embarrassed when he sees the video and tries to delete it, which leads to a tense moment between them, just as Do-Han arrives.

Later, Yoon Chae-Won, played by Bae Yoon-Kyoung, meets with Ji-Han’s grandfather and asks for Ji-Han. Ji-Han then talks to Chae-Won, saying unkind things about A-Jeong, which A-Jeong overhears and gets upset about.

Near the end, Do-Han takes A-Jeong to a significant family event, with Ji-Han also in the car. They argue on the way to honor Ji-Han and Do-Han’s late mother. Their grandfather and Chae-Won are there too.

After the event, a reporter who once kidnapped Ji-Han when he was a kid shows up, causing the grandfather to leave quickly with Do-Han and Chae-Won. A-Jeong and Ji-Han are left alone and leave together. A-Jeong later returns to introduce herself to Ji-Han’s late mother’s photo, promising to take care of her son.

No one else seemed to notice Ji-Han’s possible concerns, particularly during his mother’s memorial and considering the circumstances of her passing. However, A-Jeong showed her concern. She was willing to lend an ear to him. Later, she returned and placed a small umbrella at the memorial site.~

The episode ends with A-Jeong rushing to meet Ji-Han in the rain, slipping, and Ji-Han catching her. This leads to a dramatic moment between them.~

Even as the rain pours down on them, A-Jeong is the one shielding Ji-Han. She’s always there for him, defending and supporting him in both significant and trivial matters. Despite their frequent quarrels, often due to Jihan’s immature behavior :)), they also find comfort and support in one another.

It seems they fell for each other at the same time. The instant A-Jeong witnessed Ji-Han being slapped, it rocked her world. Their trip to Busan was filled with excitement because of Ji-Han’s remarks! By the epilogue, it was clear A-Jeong felt something deeper than just a fondness for Ji-Han.~
