In the 4th episode, Eun Soo-hyun (Kim Nam-joo) showed Kang Soo-ho (Kim Kang-woo) photos of his affair, intending to forget them. But her disappointment in her husband Soo-ho didn't easily fade, causing her distress. Amidst this, Kwon Sun-yul (Cha Eun-woo) physically protected Soo-hyun in a dangerous situation, and as Soo-hyun bailed Sun-yul out of the detention center, their trust in each other began to build. However, at the end of the episode, Soo-hyun witnessed Soo-ho entering the hotel and was shocked to confirm the woman in the hotel room.

After witnessing Soo-ho’s affair photos, Soo-hyun couldn’t hide her suspicion, wondering who the woman hugging Soo-ho was, even while volunteering at a nursing home. At the same time, Sun-yul began to look into Soo-hyun’s past, curious about who she was, and went to the nursing home to receive a diary from Hyung-ja (Kang Ae-sim). 

There, a man was assaulting an elderly woman, and as Soo-hyun shielded her, a flowerpot thrown by the man flew toward Soo-hyun’s head. However, Sun-yul threw himself to protect Soo-hyun, taking the hit instead, ensuring both she and the elderly woman were safe. Eventually, an angry Sun-yul punched the man, leading to both men being detained.

Soo-hyun then approached Sun-yul, who had no one else, saying, “I’ll take responsibility,” and offered a settlement. Sun-yul, who had been consistently brusque, said, “Who asked you to settle with that jerk? Just give me the diary.” But Soo-hyun replied, “I don’t want your life to be ruined. If reading this makes you feel heavy-hearted, contact me. Don’t become numb to the pain,” offering warm advice. 

Sun-yul, moved by words he had never heard before, showed a wavering demeanor. Later, when Sun-yul saw Soo-hyun looking at Soo-ho’s affair photos, he softened, advising her, “The person who took those photos is a professional. I know a bit about photography. If you need help, contact me.”

Meanwhile, Soo-hyun, feeling the neighborhood gossiping about her, met with her neighbor Hye-geum (Cha Soo-yeon) and headed to her house. Hye-geum expressed gratitude, recalling how Soo-hyun’s son, Geon-woo (Lee Joon), was the only friend to Hye-geum’s son, Hee-jae (Jin Jae-hee), who was teased by other children due to pediatric epilepsy.

Soo-hyun then confronted Soo-ho with the affair photos, sharing her honest feelings. She said to Soo-ho, “If you prefer someone else, I’ll let you go anytime.” Frozen, Soo-ho replied, “It’s a thing of the past, so much that I don’t even remember. You’re everything to me. Please believe me.” Soo-hyun accepted his apology and decided to forget the past. But meeting Yuri (Im Se-mi) revealed her lingering anxiety and concern for Soo-ho.

At the same time, Soo-Hyun's mother Go-eun was shocked to find Soo-ho’s affair photos in an anonymous mail. Feeling something was off during a call with her mother. Soo-hyun rushed to her parents’ house and was distressed to learn that Go-eun had seen the problematic photos. 

Go-eun, sitting numbly at a bus stop, lamented, “He did that while my child lost her child overnight and endured in that cold prison,” and vowed, “Just as Geon-woo was precious to you, there’s nothing I wouldn’t do for you,” pouring out her resentment towards Soo-ho.

As a special talk show featuring Soo-hyun and Soo-ho aired, Kim Joon (Park Hyuk-kwon) watched with a meaningful gaze. Meanwhile, Sun-yul leveraged the weakness of Congressman Choi Joo-seok (Kim Chul-ki) to favor Kim Joon in the election. Later, Sun-yul tracked down a mysterious man, Min-hyuk (Lim Ji-sub), at the orphanage. He checked Min-hyuk’s medical insurance and criminal records, amplifying curiosity about Min-hyuk’s identity and Sun-yul’s secretive plans.

Meanwhile, Soo-ho received a call and demanded, “Is it you? The person you sent?” After telling Soo-hyun that a meeting was running long, he hurriedly left in his car. Soo-hyun, after speaking with Soo-ho outside the broadcasting station, began to follow him, suspecting he was lying about the meeting.

Surprisingly, Soo-ho arrived at a hotel. Soo-hyun was shocked to find women’s shoes behind Soo-ho as he entered a hotel room. The identity of the woman was revealed to be Hye-geum, the neighbor who had warmly welcomed Soo-hyun, leaving us in shock. 

Episode 4 ended with Soo-hyun’s confused and shocked expression, heightening the tension. The secrets of Soo-ho’s affair and Sun-yul’s secret activities, as well as the mystery that will unfold for Soo-hyun, have raised expectations.

“Wonderful World” is a mystery drama that airs every Friday and Saturday at 9:50 PM, unraveling the mysterious secrets tied to the day Eun Soo-hyun personally executed her son’s murderer. It is also available for viewing on Disney+.
