“Sweet Home 2” has released some exciting new stills!

The series is based on a webtoon with the same title and tells the story of Cha Hyun Soo (Song Kang), a reclusive high school student who moves into a new apartment building where monsters start to appear and the residents are trapped inside. Season 2 will follow Cha Hyun Soo and the other survivors as they try to stay alive after escaping from Green Home.

The new stills show the increased chaos and crisis that the survivors encounter after leaving Green Home and the situations where they turn into monsters themselves. Pyeon Sang Wook (Lee Jin Wook), who hates humans, is contrasted with Hyun Soo, who tries to keep his humanity, as they face the reality of the government's vaccine development at the Special Disaster Base. The residents of Green Home Apartments finally arrive at the baseball stadium that is supposed to be a safe haven.

In the stadium, which becomes their new home, all the survivors have to prove every day whether they are humans or monsters and live under the protection and control of the security forces.

Other stills introduce the new residents of the stadium, such as Jun Il (Kim Dong Young), who came with his ill mother Sun Hwa (Yoon Se Ah), and Chief Ji's daughter Ye Seul (Yang Hye Ji). Some stills depict those who have chosen to live outside the stadium. One still shows Seo Yi Kyung (Lee Si Young), who is raising her child alone on an abandoned ship, while another shows street survivors Ho Sang (Hyun Bong Sik) and Ha Ni (Chae Won Bin), who are exposed to the risk of being attacked by monsters at any moment. Viewers are curious about why they have decided to live outside the stadium.

Director Lee Eung Bok commented on the different types of people living in the stadium: "Monsters are not only outside but also inside each person. I wanted to ask how long the survivors can hold on to their humanity and whether they can accept their loved ones who have become monsters overnight."

“Sweet Home 2” will premiere on December 1.
