Ryu Jun-yeol, Kim Tae-ri, Kim Woo-bin, and More Star in Epic “Alienoid” Part 2

The sci-fi fantasy film "Alienoid" has unveiled new character posters for its second part!

"Alienoid" is a two-part sci-fi film that follows the events that unfold when a mysterious time portal connects Taoists from the Goryeo Dynasty who are looking for a sacred sword with people from the present day who are chasing an alien prisoner trapped in a human body. The film is directed by Choi Dong Hoon, who is known for his previous works such as "Jeon Woo Chi" (2009), "The Thieves" (2012), and "Assassination" (2015).

The individual character posters show the eight main characters who each have their own goals and motivations. Ryu Jun Yeol plays Moo Reuk, a Taoist who is unsure of his own identity. The poster hints at his improved magic and action skills.

Another poster shows Lee Ahn (Kim Tae Ri) running with the sacred sword in her hand. She has to go back to the present day to protect everyone. There is also Thunder (Kim Woo Bin), who needs to open the time portal to return to the present day, and Min Gae In (Honey Lee), who is investigating the secrets of the aliens.

Heuk Seol (Yum Jung Ah) and Chung Woon (Jo Woo Jin) are two characters who travel from the Goryeo Dynasty to the present day, and their roles in the story are intriguing. On the other hand, Ja Sang (Kim Eui Sung), the alien prisoner who is stuck in the past, and Neung Pa (Jin Sun Kyu), the blind swordsman, display their charisma in their posters.

The short teaser for "Alienoid" Part 2 showcases the amazing chemistry of the star-studded cast. It starts with Heuk Seol and Chung Woon in the present day, sensing someone's arrival, and then switches to Lee Ahn, who asks, "Who are you?" The clip introduces each character briefly, highlighting their personalities and charms.

"Alienoid" Part 2 will hit the theaters in January 2024.
