JTBC’s new drama “Family by Choice” (working title) has confirmed its cast of Hwang In Yeop, Jung Chaeyeon, and Bae Hyun Sung on December 13.
The drama is a romantic tale of three people who grew up together as a family without blood ties and reunited after a decade apart.
Hwang In Yeop will portray Kim San Ha, a handsome man who seems to have it all. He left his childhood friends Yoon Joo Won and Kang Hae Joon behind but came back to them after 10 years. Viewers are curious to see how Hwang In Yeop will express Kim San Ha’s hidden secrets.
Jung Chaeyeon will play Yoon Joo Won, a strong and cheerful woman who is loved by her father who owns a kalguksu (Korean noodle dish) restaurant. She always treated Kim San Ha and Kang Hae Joon as her family, regardless of what others said. Jung Chaeyeon will charm viewers with her warm and lovely portrayal of Yoon Joo Won.
Bae Hyun Sung will take on the role of Kang Hae Joon, a bright and cute young man who overcame hardships in his life. He followed and loved Yoon Joo Won and Kim San Ha who welcomed him as their family. He also plays basketball with passion to repay Yoon Joo Won’s father’s kindness. Bae Hyun Sung’s character will raise expectations for his performance.
