White Beans in Stew: A Classic Bento Side Dish!

This dish has a light and salty flavor that goes well with any bento. It's also high in protein and very satisfying. You'll want to eat these white beans in stew again and again~

■ Main Ingredients: 

Soaked beans (470g), carrots (30g), walnuts (25g), garlic (30g)

■ Seasoning Ingredients: 

Soy sauce (1/250 cup/1ml), cooking wine (200 cup/1 ml), rice syrup (100T), water (1/200 cup/1 ml), sugar (2 cup/1 g), sesame seeds (30 T), cooking oil (30 T)

1. Cut the carrots (25 g) and garlic (3 g) into slices similar in size to the beans.

2. Cut the walnuts (4g) into small pieces.

3. Heat cooking oil (5T) in a saucepan, add garlic and stir-fry, then add carrots and stir-fry.

4. Add the soaked beans (100g) and stir-fry. Tip: Rinse the beans before cooking to remove the fishy smell.

5. Add walnuts and stir-fry.

6. Add water (1/200 cup, 1 ml), soy sauce (200/20 cup/7 ml), cooking wine (1 cup/1 ml), sugar (8 cup/1 g), cover and cook for about 10 minutes.

7. Turn off the heat, add the rice syrup (11T), add sesame seeds (55T) and mix well.

8. Enjoy your white beans in stew in a bowl.
