Actor Park Bo-young is continuing her success streak with a new drama.
According to Star News' exclusive report on the 17th, Park Bo Young has been confirmed to star in the upcoming drama 'Melo Movie'.
'Melo Movie' is a dark yet humorous romance drama about young people who have faced hardships and bad luck in their lives, but never gave up their rebellious spirit. Now they are looking for someone they can rely on completely.
In the drama, Park Bo-young plays Kim Moo-bi, a former assistant director who became a film director. She followed her father's dream of becoming a film director and worked as a film crew member. She entered the film industry and honed her skills without attracting much attention.
The male lead, Ko Kyeom, is played by Choi Woo-shik. Ko Kyeom is a former minor actor who turned into a film critic. He will share his fateful love story with Kim Moo-bi, whom he met on the film set.
'Melo Movie' was written by Lee Na-eun, who also wrote the SBS drama "Our Beloved Summer," which ended in January last year. "Our Beloved Summer" starred Choi Woo-shik, Kim Da-mi, Kim Sung-chul, and Noh Jung-jung.
Park Bo-young is meeting global viewers through the Netflix series "Daily Dose of Sunshine" released on the 3rd. She plays Da-eun, a nurse who started working in the psychiatric department. She portrays the world she encounters in the psychiatric ward and the various stories of heartbroken people.
