[Feb 16] “Knight Flower” Episode 11: Rating & Recap

In the 11th episode, Jo Yeohwa (Lee Ha-nee) found out the whereabouts of Orabi and shocked the viewers.

Yeohwa’s dilemma and escape

Yeohwa overheard the conversation between Seok Ji-seong (Kim Sang-joong) and Kang Pil-jik (Jo Jae-yoon) who met her and said that they had to get rid of those who slandered her. At that time, Yeohwa, who was in danger of being exposed, went straight to the shrine, changed into a servant’s clothes and pretended to polish the plaque. Seokjeong (Oh Eui-sik), who entered the shrine after hearing that a suspicious person had entered the house, saw the black hem sticking out of Yeohwa’s servant’s clothes and pretended not to know, leading to a tense development.

Meanwhile, Jang So-un (Yoon Sa-bong) was also captured by Kang Pil-jik. Pil-jik used So-un as bait to call Park Su-ho. Su-ho, who went to save So-un, fought with Pil-jik’s men. And one of them pointed a knife at So-un’s neck, forcing Su-ho to drop his knife. Yeohwa, who stepped in to save Su-ho and So-un, threw a stone next to her at Su-ho’s words, remembering their first meeting, and avoided the crisis. And soon after, Pil-jik was arrested by the Geumwiyeong.

The tea party and the truth

On the other hand, Oh Nan-gyeong (Seo Yi-sook) disappeared without a trace after being chased by the grape captain, and her whereabouts became mysterious. Yeohwa couldn't hide her frustration at not being able to hear anything about Orabi. Yeohwa, who left Nan-gyeong’s house, ran into Yoon Hak. At that time, Yoon Hak told Yeohwa that there was a tea party and asked her not to intervene in anything that happened between the king and the left minister and raised curiosity about what would happen next.

On the day of the tea party, King Yi So (Heo Jeong-do) commemorated Seokjeong’s return to life and recalled the former king. Yeohwa also brought up her story of Orabi, and there was a strange atmosphere between them. At that time, Nan-gyeong appeared with Yi So’s words that he had invited a special guest, and shocked everyone. Nan-gyeong said that she had served tea with poisoned petals on the night the former king died, and handed the tea to Yi So, who gave it to Seokjeong, putting Ji-seong to the test. Ji-seong, who pretended not to know, made everyone shiver with his behavior of not stopping his son Seokjeong from drinking the tea.

Nan-gyeong confessed that she had poisoned the former king by serving him tea on Ji-seong’s order 15 years ago. Then, after drinking the tea, Nan-gyeong died, and before she died, she told Yeohwa the shocking truth that “Your lady’s Orabi is already dead by the left minister’s hand.” Yeohwa, who found out the whereabouts of Orabi, was shocked.

The ending scene where Yeohwa shed tears of anger and emptiness holding Nan-gyeong made our hearts ache and made us look forward to how Yeohwa would take revenge on Ji-seong in the final episode.

The final episode of "Knight Flower" will air starting at 9:45 p.m. on the 17th.
